🚨 Exciting News from Bristol Independent Film Festival! 🎬✨

For the first time ever, we introduced an Audience Choice Award at our 2025 event, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the response! Over 200 audience members cast their votes during our screenings, making their voices heard in celebrating incredible filmmaking.

With nearly eight years of experience in local broadcasting, Jamie Lowe has become a key figure in Bristol’s media scene. Having launched Bristol’s local TV channel, he’s spent years immersing himself in the city’s vibrant cultures and communities. 🌆✨

For over three years, Jamie has been part of the Bristol Independent Film Festival team, bringing his passion for storytelling to the big screen. After studying Film and TV at university, he developed a love for cinema across all genres—making him the perfect host for this incredible event! 🎥🍿

Now in his third year presenting at the festival, Jamie is more excited than ever to welcome audiences and celebrate the power of film. His energy and expertise promise to make this year’s screenings truly unforgettable! 🎉
