MobileScreenfest Int Mobile Screenfest - SHOOT UPLOAD WIN Check it out for cool news!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away... actually, in 2009 in Los Angeles, California the Director of ARAYA PICTURES Dr Avnesh Ratnanesan a.k.a. Avi bumped into a distinguished bloke called Professor Karl Bardosh (not to be confused with the Australian know-it-all-funnyman Dr Karl). Avi and Prof Karl were attending a film festival, where Avi had the world premiere of his slapstick short comedy The First Date and Prof Karl was there to check out the young talent. The film was a success and Avi was awarded the Best Directorial Debut for an International Short Film while Professor Karl, was distinguishing in educating filmmakers in the latest technologies in filmmaking at the festival seminars. Over a couple of American beers (both for Avi) and an iced tea for the Professor, the two passionate filmmakers conceived one of the BOLDEST ideas in the Australian film and digital entertainment history - a festival where ALL films and photographs are shot entirely on mobile phones!
