প্রকৃতপক্ষে, ইসলাম সকল বিষয়ে সত্য ও ন্যায়নীতির উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত। এ ন্যায়নীতি বিচারকার্যে, কথা-বার্তায়, কাজ-কর্মে ও আচার-আচরণে, যা আমরা অবতীর্ণ কিতাব (কুরআন) থেকে শিখতে পারি। মহান আল্লাহ বলেন: “এবং তােমার প্রতিপালকের কথা সত্য ও ন্যায়নীতিতে ভরপুর।” [সূরা-৬ আল আন’আম : আয়াত-১১৫]
