Introducing my new artwork titled ‘Electric’ on an S-style electric guitar. Custom and locally made by trailblazerguitars

Spalted maple body and headstock. Rosewood fretboard, 9.5” radius, 21 fret. Maple neck with modern C profile. Custom leather pickguard. Guitar will be assembled and fully playable when complete. Pickups and hardware info coming soon.

This exciting pyrography project has been over two months in the making and I’m stoked to finally bring you along on this endeavour. This guitar is a passion project of mine to simply have fun with creative freedom and create a functional piece of art that can ultimately inspire new music.

Huge thanks to Evan from Trailblazer for sourcing insanely gorgeous wood and building this beauty of a guitar.

Woodburning artwork is complete & the guitar is now ready to be assembled.

Once assembled with hardware and pickups, this pyrography s-style guitar titled ‘Electric’ will be available for anyone to purchase at www.hippienorth.com.

This pyrography project has been in the works since July. I thought it would be a fun idea to burn an electric guitar and just so happens to make them locally. With Trailblazer Guitars, I was able to customize the type of woods used throughout the guitar, along with customizing the body shape and hardware. Huge thanks to Evan for building this guitar so beautifully and I can’t wait for you all to see it fully built & ready to play.

As for the artwork it was an exciting learning curve to adjust my techniques to burn on curved edges and also leather. The artwork honestly turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I’m so happy and proud of this piece.

This pyrography artwork has been in motion since July when began building the guitar I envisioned for this art piece and it’s surreal to see it completed after months of woodburning. What a way to end 2024 🙏🏼
