You guys know I try to save you money...but when I see something you need to steer clear of, I'm going to tell you.
AltRX (their profile link is above)
Do NOT use this company. I filled out the initial information and gave my credit card info. First, my credit card was charged before there was even any info on my profile. I was very clear that I wanted to stay on my same dosage of tirzepatide and that lower dosages would not be effective for me and that I would not want to purchase a lower dosage. I got a text and message in the portal that a lower dosage had been prescribed. I immediately (within minutes) reached out to them and got zero response. I reached out again. When I finally got a response, they indicated that they had been having some issues in the portal/email, and basically, "Too bad. We didn't see your message before and now it's too late and we've already shipped the wrong dosage." So I received medication that I know will not work for me and they refuse to do anything about it even though the lag in communication was their fault...which they admitted. I had also asked about a prescription for generic Zofran. They said they would check and see if their clinical team would approve it. They tried to charge my card $63 without even notifying me. This medication is less than $20 at my pharmacy without insurance. They asked for all of my pharmacy info, so you would think I'd go to my pharmacy and pay them to get the meds like I normally do when any doctor calls in a medication, right? Wrong. This company is grossly inflating the charge and simply having you pick it up at your pharmacy of choice. Extremely underhanded. So go ahead and use this company if you want to waste your money, possibly get the wrong medication for which they will not take any responsibility, charge you outrageous amounts for other medications without notifying you first, etc. Luckily, the medication charge didn't go through because I hadn't transferred money to the card. But had there been money on the account, they would have stolen from me again. I realize that's a strong word, but when you tell a company not to send the wrong medication and they do it anyway, what do you call it when they refuse to correct the problem. They basically said, "Sorry, we'll do better on your next order." As if I'm stupid enough to order from them again. This information is going on my influencer pages as well. They are not interested in you as a patient. You've been warned.
From another customer: They charged me without consulting if I wanted it. They charged me $299 when I did a so call patient check up. They went and “provider approved the refill” when I wasn’t even due. They won’t give a refund. They went and send the prescription when I kept canceling in advance.
And this: Please do not buy from this company. They are dishonest and the customer service is terrible. They charges me 600 for 3 months at an unusable and unhealthy dosage. I never spoke to a provider. I immediately began asking to a refund when I was charged for a high dosage of this medication and was denied a refund. Instead of a refund they sent me a lower dose - which I did not want. I was clear I could not take and I was clear I wouldn’t use. The justification for no refund was that I received the original package. So why are they sending me a second one? I tried to stop the package. I contacted them immediately and begged them to stop it, before it was processed. Before it was shipped. Before it was delivered. Literal seconds after finding out what they were sending me, I had no idea they were sending me a high dose without speaking to any medical professional. I was clearly uncomfortable with the entire situation. They sent a replacement that arrived with melted ice and at nearly 100 degrees internal temperature.
Please do not use this company.
And another: I have not been able to get ahold or reply from this company. Can someone please contact me back ASAP
Even another: Im still waiting to receive communication as to when my meds will ship. I have emailed and texted without a response to it. They say they don’t charge you until you are approved but immediately took the money from my account.
Another: AltRx nobody ever responds to my emails regarding my account
