was amazing!!!!! We laughed, cried, and sang together as a class! Watching a story about a teenager trying to find themselves in NYC was so relatable to our students!

Today’s class trip to the was more than just a fun challenge – it was a lesson in collaboration! 🧩🔐 Just like in filmmaking, every person has a role to play. From brainstorming solutions to executing the plan, we learned that teamwork is the key to success. 🎬 Whether it’s solving puzzles or creating a film, it’s all about communication, trust, and creativity.

The exhibit features the remarkable works of Ajamu Kojo and Chet Gold . Their profound artwork captures the essence of Black Excellence through the lens of history, the vibrancy of the present and the boundless possibilities of the future.

The goal of the night is to bring together and celebrate individuals that epitomize excellence.

There will be Networking, Reflective Conversations, Art Tours & Much More! Light Bites will be served and drinks provided by Jam Jar Wines!

Happy First Day of Black History Month!!

Did you know that Dr. Carter G. Woodson is considered the Father of Black History Month?! He was a scholar, historian, educator and author whose mission was to preserve and celebrate the contributions of Black People. On February 7th, 1926, he launched the first Negro History Week, which later was expanded to Black History Month.

We’re so honored to have two art exhibits which contribute to the mission of celebrating and preserving the contributions of Black People!
