How Break Konnect is a tool to connect and unite the breaking community through easier app sign ups. This is a project that Felix has had brewing for quite some time and is gaining a bigger role in jams/events around the world.

• We jump into Felix the man, who is he? Is he the Russian bboy we all love? His origins in Brooklyn and how he came out to San Diego are discussed here.

• His career in the design world, as a seasoned graphic designer Felix jumps into the ups and downs almost anyone in the design field may have experienced. His move to Argentina and traveling around to different places gained him a lot of experience in life and design.

• Roxrite... is he still our homie? He denied our request for a Roxrite Googles section this time, but we're after you homie! We want that chon chon!!

In podcast #70 We invite Bboy Optic to the podcast along with a deep conversation with Joey Gold.

• We start off with an interview with Optic on his background and how it relates to dance.
• We have Joey Gold join in on the podcast, if you aren't aware of who Joey Gold is listen in. He was in the San Diego Bboy scene from the early 2000's to his exit from San Diego in 2008. He was a formidable figure in the breaking scene within San Diego.
• Joey is an artist, dancer, etc. We go into his time coming up in Arizona and how he came to San Diego with a mission to prove himself in the SD breaking scene.
• At the time Joey was hunting the best bboys in San Diego. Hear about his time calling out Tuff Rocking E Swift to battle & having Rainen throw fierce hadouken fireballs at him.
• Joey was a candidate for Rock So Fresh, although he didn't become a member of the crew hearing what was going through his head during those moments clears up the air for a lot of us.
• We get into how the breaking scene is now, we discuss how the music is now and the way breakers present themselves. Is it all silly to us now? Has it taken a turn for the worse?
• Growth is important, over the past decade plus a lot of us have progressed onto other things like family and kids... however we still take a part of our breaking with us into our future.
• Joey Gold had an influence on a lot of dancers and how RSF approaches dancing, then he took a French Exit from San Diego.
• Optic discusses his view on a lot of what is going on with dancers are doing now. Want to hear what he thinks about breaking in the olympics?! It's a very good discussion.
• Optic opens up about why he left Rock So Fresh. Is it still a crew?

• We start off the new year of 2021 by talking s**t.... literally 15 minutes of talking about taking a deuce and how it affects our bowel movements.

• We recap on our end of 2020 with what we did during the Christmas break.

• What we missed the most during the lockdown. We actually miss going out and seeing homies, people watching and laughing at other faces.

• Some places have defied the CA shutdown orders around the city, we weigh in on some of the business shutdowns and how it affects both sides.

• 2021 started off like s**t already, so we do chime in on the whole racist MAGA squad storming the capitol in DC. To our international listeners please understand not all people in AmeriKKKa are like the savages that pulled a terrorist coup klux klan. We understand the US is the laughing joke of the world, so please take it easy on us!

• They banned Trump from all social media. Censorship? Justified? Tyrant inciting violence, would you let him keep that up?

• So during all this craziness with the capitol being under siege, we noticed Instagram "influencers", were still posting like everything is happy go lucky. Like hey the world is crumbling around us.. but hey look we're so happy fronting like life is easy on Instagram!

• We go over what positives have come out of the pandemic. Like alcohol delivery became normal. Small businesses that were able to pivot and keep their biz adjusted for at home workers. An example is our good friend Whacko in SF that started his donut biz during this time. Sadly a lot of places closed down and we mention those local spots we miss.

• We mention those who passed away in 2020 that had an impact on us.

So I've been criticized for giving the whole podcast away in my summaries haha, i'll let you guys tune in to hear what we went into depth with during this podcast. Shout out to all our international listeners in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Ireland, Netherlands, etc.

At the end of 2020 it seemed people were passing away by the day. We want to give a big shoutout and REST IN PEACE to the one and only KUTFATHER. He is a staple in the San Diego hip hop culture and always will be, thank you for being a major factor in this city.

Also, one of the best and unique figures to grace the mic.

• We switch up to talking about Cobra Kai and Netflix, comparing to how it is with the OG movies in the 80's.
• We bring up our pal Rainen and how he was famous in the Vietnamese community through, "Paris By Night".
• Saso brings up famous Vietnamese singer Soytiet. Then plays some singing skills, THEN sings Soytiet's songs too!!

• We talk about, "cancel culture", does one's actions really cause that person's history of accomplishments to be erased? Some we agree on and some we do not. We touch upon Crossfit CEO Greg Glassman's actions, Bambaataa, Bill Cosby, DJ Qbert, etc.

• Corporations benefitting off of prison labor, we mention the documentary 13th and how men arrested for minor offenses such as ma*****na are serving long prison sentences.

• How are influencers doing during the pandemic? Are they able to promote via Instagram and continue a high volume of earnings? Are companies grabbing high volume influencers to promo certain products? Claudia breaks down how the influencer game works, we think she secretly has an IG influencer page she hasn't shown us.

• What happened to the B Girls? We used to have a dope b girl community in San Diego... sooooo what happened to a thriving scene in this city? We reminisce about past b girls in SD and the females that would travel here for the Qween B jam thrown by Chyna and Sake.

• Are you so hip hop that you would rock sneakers to the beach? We talk about hard core hip hop bros that can't wear flip flops to the beach because they're too hip hop for the beach yo. Saso was one of those guys wearing Timbs to la playa.

• The whole Jeffrey Epstein case and perverts, do they exist in the hip hop culture?

• Roxrite talks about his experience with Red Bull BC One and people asking him where he stands on Red Bull being quiet during a time of racial injustice and protests.

• We go over a variety of subjects throughout the remainder of the podcast such as: anti-maskers, the CAREN Act, Karens in the wild, the idiot racist CEO that went off on a racist rant against a Filipino family in Carmel Valley near the bay area, the Will Smith/Jada Pinkett drama was mainly a marketing ploy for the dude that released an album and much more.

The latest Not So Fresh Podcast is now up!!

In episode 64 of the Not So Fresh Podcast we discuss:

• In studio guest QwestLA for a young person's perspective on things today.

• We go over what we've been doing during quarantine and how we have picked up new habits, skills, workouts and more. Some of the new skills we've acquired are cooking, DJ'ing live on Twitch, creating music and all sorts of ill s**t.

• Adjusting to being able to get out to restaurants/bars. Although we don't condone going out too often, it may be needed to get out and do a few things out of the house. Wear your mask and take proper precautions!

• Is California headed toward another major lockdown since Covid numbers are creeping back up? Is it really a 2nd wave if the first wave never really died down?

• Professional insight on the current state of Covid 19 courtesy of NSF's resident Clinical Nurse Specialist AKA the Rebel CNS AKA DJ Son Of Jarel. The hospitals have been able to better prepare for incoming patients, our specialist weighs in on all the latest data.

• We talk about the CEO of Crossfit and how he fu**ed up the branding of Crossfit by his remarks about George Floyd. This CEO Greg Glassman has had a history of being very insensitive during past events. Reebok pulled out of sponsoring Crossfit, gyms have pulled their affiliations and bros everywhere might cry.

• DJ Qbert had a fall out with similar comments about recent events. He has come off as a Trump supporter and posted very insensitive tweets. Plenty of DJ's spoke out against Qbert and his recent online behaviors.

• The Black Lives Matter movement and how we've learned more about it. What we can do to help via donations, sharing info, attending protests and more.

• Racism in sports? Bubba Wallace is the only African American driver in Nascar and found a noose in his garage. QwestLA talks about attending NBA games in Utah where fans are shouting racist remarks to the players. Sports are making a comeback and this is a good platform for athletes to use to make their voices heard.

• Red Bull BC One Champ Roxrite chimes in and talks about what he's been doing the past few months during quarantine. We talk to Rox about how their crew The Squadron came together to create an Instagram series of tutorials to raise money for a variety of organizations.

• Perverts in the dance scene?! You don't say! Dance directors that have used their leverage to take advantage of younger dancers. A lot of people... errr dance bros are being outed by the people they've tried to take advantage of. More will be discussed in depth on a later podcast.

Latest Not So Fresh Podcast is now up! First podcast via Facetime! Hooray technology!

In episode #62 of the Not So Fresh Podcast we have a Facetime cast with the whole crew! Yes ma'amsirrs the usual suspects plus DJ Son Of Jarel and Roxrite are all on the podcast this go around! In #62 we discuss:

• Covid 19/Coronavirus. Yes you've heard a lot about it, maybe too much. However, we have a high ranking Clinical Nurse Specialist that oversees two ICU's and is on the front lines helping battle this virus. Yes DJ Son of Jarel is the most essential man from the NSF Podcast and drops a ton of knowledge about what's currently going on with his perspective from a very high volume hospital.

• Is opening up parks, services to the public this week wayyyyy too early? We believe so, stay ya ass at home.

• Covidiots? They were out in full force protesting around the nation and in downtown San Diego with their white hooded masks....errrrr confederate flags... errrrr picket signs? They demand the state of CA to re-open because they need haircuts, nevermind the pandemic killing people.

• Son of Jarel goes over how the immune system reacts to covid 19 and how there's a difference from person to person in their response to how their body handles it.

• We go over how the state of CA was able to shut down in response to the pandemic and how the requirements from the CDC have changed over the past month.

• Roxrite is one of the most well traveled bboys in the world, he touches on how there has been a shift in the breaking world with no events to train for or attend. The latest podcast is up!

In podcast #61 we sit down with the core crew and Saso's wife Tina joins us as we discuss:

• We start off catching up after a month long hiatus, a previous podcast fell through so we'll make that up soon for you guys.

• We catch up on Saso's wedding, yes that's right the man himself got married during our hiatus. The first half hour is a recap and us talking about their wedding. If you know Saso go congratulate him by sending him nudes or $10 to buy him expensive beer.

• Destijl gives a quick insight on how it was to attend the Kobe Bryant memorial at Staples Center on 2/24. The date being a ode to Gigi and Kobe Bryant's jersey numbers. A very humbling and sad gathering to honor the late basketball hero.

• We recap a bit on what we talked about on the previous podcast, just to refresh listeners on what we thought was a very good episode about mental health.

• We call in our own NSF podcast field reporter Mr. B Boy Roxrite. We catch up on how his diet and training has been, how he has been able to lose weight and keep the weight off. We also bring up how a ton of freelance workers and self employed people are dealing with the blow to their business amid the Corona Virus pandemic. Most international flights are grounded and many events worldwide have been postponed or cancelled. We get Roxrite's take on how this affects his line of work since he relies on flights around the world to judge or attend these events.

• We also get blamed for being the culprits behind Roxrite's bad diet while he was in San Diego, he has moved to LA where they have s**tty Mexican food. Thus making eating bad a difficult choice.

• Of course we go into the Corona Virus/Covid 19 talk and how crazy people are with their actions. i.e. - lines at Costco, people fighting over toilet paper, hand sanitizer sellout, unnecessary doomsday stocking on items that most likely won't help, racism against Asians, the media hype causing mass hysteria, etc. etc.

• Social media apparently handed out Medical School degrees in the past 2 weeks, so we go over what necessary actions people actually need versus what seems like a SNL skit. i.e. - wash your hands for 20 seconds vs. panic and buy sanitizer.

• We have a quick guest spot from NSF's own medical staff. An emergency room nurse/pediatric ER/navyER/ etc etc... that gives insight into what is actually going on during this time with clinics and hospitals. Much more reliable than copy/pasting some unchecked article on Facebook.

• Bboys and Bgirls have been what we call, "Instagram Pandhandling". Where they post up their Venmo/Paypal/CashApp handle and ask the public to send them money. We discuss if this is similar to just making a story up for money on GoFundMe or an actual way to be an Internet Pandhandler.

• We talk about the funny memes that have gone around the net during this Corona Virus pandemic, the most famous one being, "If You Know Who This Guy Is Then You Have Some Fu**ed Up Friends". (Insert pic of buff black dude's face). Go look it up... it's funny... I promise.

• We go over many other things as we always go off subject into multiple tangents while our brains are on IPA's and wine. So do listen in on this virus filled podcast!

• As usual we end the podcast with what we've been watching and what we've been listening to since the last podcast.
