Welcome to My World

Hi, ciao, hola, I am Lariza aka TheSleepyFoodie! Thank you for being part of my journey. My goal is to use food as a medium to bring people together and connect over similarities and differences. I was born and raised in Milan, Italy and coming to Sacramento was a huge cultural shock for me. I knew almost no one and knew nothing but thanks to people inviting me into their lives and introducing me to the American culture (guess what my favorite thing to explore was? Ha! Food.), I’ve learned to appreciate Sacramento and the United States. I created this account to encourage others to be involved with the local food scene and to show that there ARE so many things to do wherever you might be.

I value genuine interactions and curiosity. My passion is dancing, exploring, and learning cultures. I like food puns too. This is more than a passion project, it’s now part of my lifestyle, and I’m going to explore ways to blend all my areas of interests together.

Whether you need a food or event companion, or help boosting your personal or business social media presence, LET’S CONNECT, CREATE, and COLLABORATE!
