In my latest column in EPW I have talked about the mindset that pervades our strategic thought. The Indian elite's obsession with power and their belief that the easiest way to power is by doing White'man's dirty work.

The issue is do we define our role or is it being defined by someone else? The issue is between Power and Freedom. Our strategy never seeks freedom, it continues to get more and more entangled in the imperialist power game that makes us lose again and again.
