🚨 REMINDER: The Agemo Masquerade Festival will hold from July 1st to 2nd, 2025 in Ijebuland, with processions through areas like Ijebu-Ode, Ago-Iwoye, Imodi-Imosan, and others. As per tradition, women are not allowed to witness the masquerades, so female staffs and students are strongly advised to avoid these areas from 1:00PM on both days. Please stay informed and stay safe! 🙏

AGEMO FESTIVAL 2025 SET TO HOLD

This is to inform the general public that Agemo will be entering town on 1st of July for the annual Agemo festival and dance on 2nd of July.

Their traditional routes from the ages are:
1. Epe/Ijebu Ode route
2. Isiwo/Ijebu Ode route
3. Ijebu Imusin/Ijebu Ode route
4. Ago-Iwoye/Oru/Ijebu Ode route
5. Ago-Iwoye/Pepsi Junction/Imodi-Imosan route
6. Okun-Owa/Agoro/Imodi- Imosan route
7. Odogbolu/Ijebu Ode route..etc

It is important to re-emphasise the fact that women are not allowed to see the paraphernalia of the Agemo(s), so all women are to restrict their movements from 1pm upward on these routes on the date stated above to avoid any calamity.
