—additional discussion:

Hi All!

I want to talk about t-shirts, projects, and more!

Every year Notre Dame releases “the shirt”…a new design each season to support the team. We have a few ideas flying around that we wanted to put out there.

“World Tour” Style T-shirt
Released in January each year that has a unique design on the front along with “tour dates” (the films we released in our theater the previous year) on the back.

“Annual Design”
A unique piece of artwork on the front with our theater logo on the back. Designs would always be appropriate for an 8 year old to wear to school.

The goal for the t-shirts would be to help fund new projects inside and outside the building—seating enhancements, carpet replacement, painting the auditorium, restoration of the building facade, new marquee, upgrading the sound system etc.

Additionally, we have stickers and buttons up front in the lobby for sale that go toward the same projects. They’re a low cost way to support the theatre.

This was covered in the South Bend Tribune article, but not everyone saw that. We want you to know that Rex and Sean have full time jobs that cover their needs. We do not draw a salary or take money out of the theatre for personal gain.

The money that the theatre brings in covers operating costs first (concessions, utilities, studio film distribution rights) and saving for projects second.

The more you come to see movies, the better your theater will become. This is truly a case of investing in a local business and seeing it become better.

Let us know what sort of shirt ideas you would be interested in!

Let’s go.

Let’s go.

ET: The Extra Terrestrial will be screening exclusively at The Bremen Theatre this weekend.

Friday at 7pm
Saturday at 7pm
Sunday at 2pm

Screening this film for the community is truly a “life has come full circle” moment for me. I can tell you with certainty, as I sat upon the bicycle with ET in the basket for this photo, adorned in Bugle Boy jeans and a great striped shirt, I had no clue that 30 years later I’d be getting ready to run this in a theater that I own.

It’s going to be a surreal moment, and I’ll probably be emotional all week about it. I hope everyone can come, bring your family or friends, bring your kids, and grab a box of Reese’s Pieces and enjoy this classic film with us.

There will be plenty of important announcements about this weekend still to come. Stay tuned!
