I put down paper towels under the substrate for many reasons. The white paper towels clearly show how much liquid excrement has soiled the substrate, and then it is easy to roll up like a cinnamon bun filled with substrate to make deep cleaning easier.

But Typhon has decided that it's actually an extra layer of substrate to burrow under 🙃😂

I forget how many snake selfies I have tucked away on my phone 😂 I always forget to post the snake pics I take 🙃 I just have focused so much on reels for so long that normal pictures take a back seat 🤷🏼‍♀️

The living room enclosures now have quite a bit of purple fake foliage, and the bedroom enclosures have all of the pink! Truthfully I need to get more pink fake plants though to bring the whole look together 🤣

I caught Chachi shedding!! I'm just so excited!! He finished soon after I snapped this picture and I guess I'm just surprised how fast chahoua geckos shedding process is!!

Small sweet boy Cronus shed a day or two ago, so obligatory pictures of him looking fresh af for everyone 🤣 I seriously wonder if he has another morph going on here aside from pied because of the bright coloration around his saddles 🤔

I can't believe it's been four years since I went to a reptile expo in Minneapolis looking for a ball python and went home with Adonis 🩷 I genuinely believed that people were over editing pictures of bamboo BP online, but when I saw him in person and realized the pictures were real I had to have him😭

When my irl friends see Chachi for the first time, they're always surprised by how big he is 😂 I think they expect him to be the size of a crested gecko and then this 8-10 inch long gecko is staring back at them while they search his enclosure for him 🤣

Will I be getting anymore geckos? No.
Am I obsessed with Chachi? ABSOLUTELY 😻😻

I'm glad Artemis is a killer pied because I'm 100% confident she would kill me if she had the opportunity 😂 She's never been a particularly friendly snake, but at this point I feel like short and occasional (very occasional) handling is beneficial for her attitude. It keeps her familiar with me. Anyway, she's been a great display snake and consistently comes out at night!!

Whenever I talk with my grandma she always asks how Medusa is doing 🥹❤️ I was living with her when I got little 150 gram baby Medusa and I was genuinely so surprised when she okayed me getting a snake!! One night she asked to watch her eat too 😭❤️ I'm lucky to have such a supportive and loving grandmother who always gave me the space to be myself!!

When Wetzel was given to me, I was told he's a very sweet boy who does well with handling and she was 100% right! Wetzel has been a very friendly ball python who was already well socialized from the start!! I could not be luckier ❤️

Most nights I hear Chachi the chahoua gecko jumping around his enclosure and it scares me because he's right by my bed and it's always unexpected 😂 I'm not used to hearing the quiet thud of him hopping from his climbing bars to the wall 🤣 I'm glad he's being active at night and I've been finding licks missing from his little cups of food so I couldn't be happier with how he's doing!

exoanding beyond keeping just snakes has been interesting🤣 especially remembering to change out his food so often but it's right by the door so it's easy and I'm reminded whenever I look at him
