Who ever heard of this guy?

Goated DB Seasons: Carlton Gray 1991

Carlton Gray was a standout prep star out of Forest Park High in Cincinnati,Ohio where he starred in football, basketball, and track. He was awarded the Dial Award for the national high school scholar-athlete of the year in 1988.

He was a day 1 starter as a true freshman for the UCLA Bruins and remained that all 4 years from 1989-1992. With multiple All-American seasons under his belt it was his junior season in ‘91 that was GOATED.

Gray finished second in the country that year with 10 interceptions, helping the Bruins to a 9-3 record and 6-2 in the ole PAC 10 Conference.

Following another All-American campaign his senior year, Davis was selected by Seattle with the first pick of the second round in 1993.

My goat criteria different!

What were you doing in the years your team wasn’t winning the championship? How far was your team getting then based off your play?

Were your teams competitive?

All this only the years you one the championship is what matters is GARBAGE‼️😂

Thats just as dumb as thinking because a player is STATISTICALLY better than you, he’s the better player.

Oh and if rings which is a team accomplishment is what makes someone the goat then.

Welp!

They’ve waived my boy. I don’t blame them. It’s the harsh side of the business.

The fact is he’s a 33 year old coming off an Achilles injury.

He’s probably going to be out the majority of this season coming up.

Who wants that contract on their books?

What I think dame should start thinking about is an off the bench type of role at this stage of his career!

He will be back. I doubt he will ever be the same player though!

Still a hall of famer anyway you slice it.

Welp. It’s official to my fellow Lebron fans. The lakers ain’t winning a damn thing!

One thing I said was Lebron needed to take less at this point in his career to spice up the BENCH in particular! Get a decent big man also.

Making 50 million a year is ridiculous.

Forget about winning. It is not happening!
