Sometimes the deepest wounds come from the people who were supposed to love us first.

But healing means learning to bless and release—not out of bitterness, but out of love for our own peace.

You can forgive and still walk away. You can bless and still set a boundary.

❤️‍🩹 Have you ever had to let go of a relationship to heal?

I’m joined by James Ginn, author of the brilliant new book How to Get Along with Anyone: The Playbook for Predicting and Preventing Conflict at Work and at Home. Together, we unpack the five core conflict styles—Avoiders, Competitors, Collaborators, Accommodators, and Analyzers—and explore how these styles show up in our everyday lives.

🎙 This episode is for you if you’ve ever asked:

* Why do I shut down when things get tense?
* How do I deal with someone who always has to win?
* Can understanding my Enneagram type help me fight fair?

James brings practical tools, emotional insight, and a whole lot of clarity to the messy business of human conflict. Whether you’re leading a team or navigating family dynamics, this episode will give you a framework for more grace-filled, constructive conversations.

**The Invisible Weight We Carry 🧠💭**

There’s a burden many of us carry that has no shape, no sound, no clear form—and yet it is *exhausting*. It’s called the **mental load**.

It’s that ever-spinning to-do list in your mind: the dentist appointment that needs booking, the groceries that are running low, the birthday card you *meant* to send last week. It's the constant project management of life, mostly silent, mostly unseen.

And here's the kicker—it eats up your **cognitive space**, leaving little room for peace, presence, intimacy, or rest.

Now, here's what the research tells us—and this part might sting: even in families where both partners work full-time, women disproportionately carry this load. Not because they *want* to. But because our systems and stories have long assumed they *should*.

Friends, this isn't just about task lists. It's about naming the invisible, honoring the work no one sees, and finding a path toward mutuality, empathy, and rest.

👉 What’s one piece of your mental load you could speak aloud today?
👉 What would it look like to carry it together?
