Lemon Pound Cake Cookies – Soft, Buttery, and Zesty!
These cookies are like little bites of sunshine – soft and buttery with a bright lemon zing!

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp lemon zest

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

Directions:

1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Mix in eggs, lemon juice, zest, and vanilla.
3. Add dry ingredients and stir until combined.
4. Scoop dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.

1 tsp black pepper

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar + mozzarella)

1 cup milk

2 tbsp butter

Salt to taste

Instructions:

1. In a pan, melt butter, add milk and cheese. Stir until creamy.

2. Mix in honey, pepper, and salt.

3. Add chicken and macaroni, toss well.

4. Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbly and coated.

Cheesy Herb Quick Bread
A savory, cheesy loaf bursting with herbs—no yeast, no waiting!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried Italian herbs

½ tsp salt

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1¼ cups milk

1 egg

¼ cup melted butter

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, herbs, salt, and cheese.

3. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.

4. Combine wet and dry ingredients—do not overmix.

5. Pour into pan and bake for 40–45 mins until golden.

6. Cool slightly before slicing.

Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls

Ingredients:

4 small bread boules

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 ½ cups Alfredo sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella

¼ cup grated Parmesan

2 tbsp butter, melted

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cut tops off bread boules and hollow out the centers.

3. Mix melted butter with garlic and brush inside each bowl. Bake for 5–7 min.

4. In a bowl, mix chicken with Alfredo sauce and spoon into each bread bowl.

5. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.

6. Bake for 10–12 min until bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley and serve

This crunchy, zesty salad is perfect for snacking straight from the jar or as a bright side dish. It’s quick to make and keeps fresh for weeks—though you’ll likely finish it in days!

Ingredients:

4 large carrots, julienned

1 cup white vinegar

½ cup water

2 tbsp sugar

1½ tsp salt

2 cloves garlic, smashed

1 tsp mustard seeds

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh dill or cilantro (optional)

Directions:

1. Pack carrots tightly into a clean jar.

2. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, garlic, mustard seeds, and pepper flakes. Bring to a boil.

3. Pour hot brine over carrots, seal, and cool.

Bacon Guacamole Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

2 slices of sourdough or your favorite bread

1 tbsp butter, softened

1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

2 slices cooked crispy bacon

2 tbsp guacamole

Optional: a few crushed tortilla chips for crunch

Directions:

1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.

2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer cheese, guacamole, bacon, and tortilla chips.

3. Top with the second slice, buttered side up.

4. Grill on medium heat until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3–4 minutes per side.

5. Slice and serve hot!
