Imelda R. Marcos High School held its 9th Commencement Exercises, marking a milestone in the lives of its graduating students.

The ceremony was graced by Engr. May-ann Parallag, a distinguished alumna, who shared her inspiring life story of overcoming challenges and persevering through life's hardships. Her achievements are remarkable given the obstacles she faced, and her story served as a powerful motivation for the graduates to pursue their dreams despite adversity. She also designed the soon-to-rise school gate as her way of giving back to her alma mater. This gesture reflects her commitment to empowering future generations.

Dr. Lordino G. Antonio, Education Program Supervisor, also shared valuable life insights and stories, encouraging the graduates to stay true to their values and strive for excellence.

In a celebration of academic excellence, Imelda R. Marcos High School held its 11th Moving Up and Recognition Ceremony with the theme: Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character.

This event honored the achievements of the Grade 10 completers, recognizing their dedication and hard work as they take a significant step towards their future.

Guest speaker F01 Ralph Van A. Juan, a proud alumnus of the class of 2014, shared inspiring words with the graduates. "If the way you're taking is easy, then you're not in the right path," he said, emphasizing that challenges and obstacles are stepping stones to success. Maโ€™am Shenna Bantasan's recognition as Most Outstanding Senior High School Master Teacher I is a true reflection of her passion for teaching, leadership in the classroom, and the lives she continues to inspire every day.

Maโ€™am Septee Sheena Dela Fuente's award as Most Outstanding Administrative Officer II reflects her tireless commitment, reliability, and service done with heart.

Imelda R. Marcos High School held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new school gate, marking the start of a major infrastructure project this year. The construction is made possible through the generous support of the alumni, School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), Barangay Officials of Feeder Barangays, and the community.

The ceremony was attended by newly elected Alumni Association President Hon. Cristina Dofitas, SPTA President Mario Cardenas Sr., and faculty & staff headed by School Principal Ma'am Lynie C. Bulos.

For the second time, IRMHS welcomed back its alumni from batches 1981 to 2025 for a grand homecoming event themed: Panagsubli, Panagkaykaysa, ken Panagpadur-as iti Nasayaat a Masakbayan.

Four guest speakers graced the event: Brgy. Captain Jayson Ochave on Politics, Teresita M. Ofracio on Education, Clariza Juan on Religion, and Cristina Dofitas on Business. Their insights inspired the alumni to reconnect and refocus on their shared mission to contribute to the community.

One of the highlights of the event was the election and induction of the new alumni officers named President Cristina Dofitas, alongside Vice President Eric Paul Nicolas, Secretary Crisel Minor, Treasurer Philip Tanon, Auditor James Ecalnir, Business Managers Larry Salvador and Roland Balmores, and Public Information Officers Fely Vergonia and Minette Bandolin.

Alumni participated in various activities, including parlor games and batch photo shoots, fostering camaraderie and nostalgia. The program concluded with a heartfelt message of gratitude from Sir Joey Reyes, IRMHS Master Teacher and alumnus.

The event was a testament to the enduring bonds among IRMHS alumni, as they reunite to strengthen ties and shape a brighter future together.

IRMHS held its much-anticipated Crowning of Mr. and Ms. IRMHS 2026 in celebration with 49th Founding Anniversary with the theme: Celebrating 49 Years of Unity, Strengthening Bonds, and Achieving Success.

The guest of honor, Echague Vice Mayor Dr. Allan Tupong, inspired the students with his life experiences, sharing stories of perseverance and hard work. His message resonated with the audience, emphasizing the importance of unity and camaraderie in achieving success.

Imelda R. Marcos High School held a successful State of the School Address and 3rd SPTA General Assembly, highlighting the school's accomplishments and plans for the future.

In her state of the school address, Ma'am Lynie C. Bulos shared that enrollment continues to increase, reflecting the trust of parents and students in the quality of education offered by IRMHS. The school's athletes also excelled, bringing home gold, silver, and bronze medals in various events at the municipal and provincial levels.

The school is constantly improving its resources like having new teaching-learning materials, including big TVs, new chairs, and sports equipment, which will enhance the teaching and learning process.

The school is also set to have new facilities which include the construction of a new gymnasium, a 2-storey building, and a new school gate, which will further improve the school's facilities.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the SPTA officers, led by Mario Cardenas as the new SPTA President.

Hon. Nenita Agustin, Women Sector Representative of the Municipality of Echague and Chair of the Education Committee, graced the event as the guest speaker, sharing a message of support for the school.

Imelda R Marcos High School is set have a new gymnasium and school gate this year. The much-anticipated projects are part of the school's ongoing efforts to improve its facilities and provide a more conducive learning environment for students.

The new gymnasium will provide a modern space for students to engage in sports and other activities, while the new school gate will enhance the school's security and aesthetic appeal. The construction of these facilities is expected to start this year as Maโ€™am Lynie Bulos mentioned in her state of the school address, and will be a major boost to the school's infrastructure.
