NG Binatang Research Center is starting to build a new field research station in the Purari River basin which will serve for ecological research and environmental monitoring of the vast local rainforests. Working with the support of local landowners and the Papua LNG project.

The Kerema District Development Authority (KDDA) through the NPC invites interested bidders for the Construction of Bore Water Supply, Tanks Set up and Installation and Sewerage System Upgrade for the Kerema Hospital Water Supply and Sewerage System. This is Phase 1 of the establishment of a properly reticulated Water and Sewerage Supply for Kerema Town and government facilities in Kerema.

KIKORI DDA COMMITS K1M TOWARD EDUCATION – 2023

The Kikori District Development Authority board recently approved K1m towards education. This is a significant increase for this vital service for the district.
K500, 000.00 will go towards the School Fee Assistance Program where government assistance is not provided while the other half will go to educations institutes in the district.
The Kikori District Development Authority Board led by Chairman, Hon. Soroi Marepo Eoe has in the past provided this support to students from the district.
This continued support with the focus on technical skills training will continue to prepare our children for the large projects that are about to take place in the district.
