🦊 One week on from UKGE 🦊

🦊 After getting back from the show, I feel like I haven’t stopped! The response from folks about Tenby has been overwhelming, and I’ve been fielding orders and requests every day 🤯🔥

🦊 There were many great bits of the show, but the very best part for me was getting to meet people who backed the game. Being able to thank people personally was just such a great joy for me. It is solely due to backers of the campaign that Tenby is in the position it is today. I can’t thank you enough, and I’m so glad that I got to meet so many of you 🧡🧡 Thank you, wonderful backers!

🦊 The other best bit was getting to spend the weekend with this lot in the picture! This is my DnD crew, and although we spend a lot of time together, for most of that time we are pretending to be other people! UKGE was a great opportunity to spend time together in another context, and to share a crazy experience together as a team 🧡🧡 Thank you, excellent friends!

🦊 Lastly, the exposure that Tenby received over the weekend wasn’t just luck, it was also down to the people who made a noise about it and told others to come find us. We were flat out all weekend long, and that’s down to some beautiful humans who felt compelled to support a small indie game 🧡🧡 Thank you, generous supporters!

🦊 UKGE 2025 Day 4: Sunday | And relax…?

🦊 What an awesome final day of the convention. Again we were non stop from start to finish, with so many folks continuing to come up and play and want to get a copy of Tenby 🙏 As a result, we are now running a direct order service, so if you’re interested in getting a copy then please email [email protected] to let us know!

🦊 We even got the chance to playtest one of my prototype ideas, which got some great feedback - thank you for taking the time to play! and others were super kind about it, and I can’t wait to play it again 🤓🔥

🦊 I want to take the opportunity to thank all of my DnD crew who helped out on the stall this weekend. You were all amazing, thank you for giving up your weekend to come help out, you’re all stars each and every one of you 🧡🧡 and of course, thanks you to my wonderful partner for your unwavering and steadfast support - you brought the energy this weekend and provided a lot of joy to a lot of people 🙏🧡🙏 I couldn’t have done this without any of you 🥰🔥

🦊 UKGE 2025 Day 3: Saturday | The crazy day

🦊 And what a crazy day it was! 🤯🙌 We had another non-stop day of lovely people coming up to play and to buy Tenby- thank you to everyone who came along, it was awesome to meet you all!

🦊 Thanks to for the shoutout on the first day wrap up, and for just being generally all round fantastic people 🧡 lots of folks said they’d seen your video and came straight to our stand to try Tenby out! 🙌

🦊 Thanks also to our amazing team of helpers who powered through and made the day an absolute joy. I’m sure you helped to brighten everyone’s day!

🦊 And to top it all off, at 5:59pm, one minute before the halls closed, we sold out of all of our stock! 🤓🤯🤓 Utterly mind blowing, and such an incredible testament to the game but also to the generosity of the folks at UKGE. Almost everyone who sat down to play bought a copy, so thank you for your time and for liking the experience enough to buy a copy!

🦊 There were many more magical moments through the day, but the last sale was really something. Thank you all! 🧡🦊🧡

🦊 UKGE 2025 Day 2: Friday | The “chill” day

🦊 What a lovely start to the weekend! It was such a joy today to meet so many people who backed the game, who came up to ask about it, and to share their stories of their connection to Tenby town! I’m utterly blown away by all of the interactions 🧡🧡🧡

🦊 So many highlights of the day, we barely stopped to breathe! Thank you to everyone who came and bought a copy of the game and the expansion, it’s so unreal to experience first hand the draw that Tenby has. I’m really grateful to backers also who showed up wanting a copy of the expansion having played the core game at home already 🙏🙏

🦊 Of course, I couldn’t do any of this without the amazing Jessie, who put in an incredible shift all day long, talking with passers by, encouraging people to play and chat, and being an all round star. Thank you 🙏🧡

🦊 Happy Holidays folks 🧡🔥🧡

🦊 I hope everyone is having a restful and rejuvenating time this week. Not everyone will be with their families, or have the time to spend with those they love, but I hope that everyone can find peace through reflecting on the year behind and dreaming about the year ahead 🙏🧡

🦊 I feel extremely lucky to have spent Christmas Day with my partner’s family, and Boxing Day with my family. Looking back at the year behind, I am so grateful for the lessons learned and the support shown, and ultimately for the success of TENBY 🧡⚓️🧡 Looking at the year ahead, I am creating the environment where my health, both mental and physical, can enable me to make the most of the opportunities on my table.

🦊 It’s been three years since this cosiest of cubs came into our lives 🧡🧡🧡 Daphne. A cat in a small dog’s body 🦁🤣

🦊 Honestly, it wasn’t a smooth entry. I was incredibly resentful of the change, and very much wanted to undo the decision we made! Jessie was an absolute rock, though I know she felt the weight of the responsibility. It’s because of Jessie and her strength that we still have this little beast in our lives.

🦊 I think it was only about a year ago that I realised that this had changed, and that it had been a long time since wishing we hadn’t taken on a little puppy. Don’t get me wrong, it had been just as joyful as it had been hard. But there came a point when the balance of the scales tipped in favour of love 🧡🧡🧡

🦊 These days, one of her favourite places to be is at the game table, snuggled up with one of us while Jessie kicks my ass at whatever it is that we’re playing 🤣 most likely Tenby!

🦊 I didn’t understand how anyone could get to the point of “I can’t imagine my life without her”, but here we are, three years on, and Daphne, our cosy little cub, I really can’t imagine our lives without you 🧡🥰🧡🥰🧡

⚓️ Whilst we wait for the files to be processed by LongPack Games, I’ve been hard at work making the music for the soundtrack album for TENBY! 🧡🎶🧡

⚓️ It’s not quite in its final form yet, but there are a bunch more tracks, and I’m nearly happy with the production quality. You can take a listen to the current album listing on SoundCloud following the linktr.ee in bio 🙌🤓

⚓️ When the album is finalised, I’ll be releasing it to all major platforms, so that you can add the tracks to your general listening lists, or just have it more easily accessible when you get TENBY out for the evening 🥰👌

🦊 Hey folks! How are you all doing?

🦊 It’s been a looong time since I’ve posted an update on the Cosy Cub social media accounts, but I’ve finally resurfaced and taken a large gulp of fresh air!

🦊 The headlines are good! TENBY is about to start manufacturing, and just in time I have opened up Gamefound to receive late pledges for anyone wanting a copy but who missed the Kickstarter campaign!

🦊 The pledge manager will close at the end of November, so make sure to get your copy before then! I’m hopeful that TENBY may yet get a lot more love from the community, and generate a lot more interest, but it’s also entirely possible that this will be the only print run ever. Who knows!

🦊 It’s been exactly one week since the end of the kickstarter campaign for Tenby 🧡🧡

🦊 I’ve been taking some enforced rest (being ill 🙄) and planning out the production schedule. Unfortunately due to there apparently being an unseasonal amount of illness going round, meetings have had to be postponed, so while we wait for more updates to the schedule, I thought I’d include a little rundown on what we achieved together 💪🙏
