It’s been real you guys! After about 8 years of doing this just wanted to say it’s been fun chatting with you all about the Jets over the years. This will be my last post, I really don’t enjoy doing the show solo anymore and it’s been hard finding a consistent Co host week in and week out, our page getting hacked last year really took the wind out of the show with us not having full control of this page it makes it hard to do certain things on here. I tried starting a second page but it didn’t take and no one crossed over.

Thank you to Jr who is a great human being and an awesome producer , when he jumped on the team it took us to the next level. Even when I felt no one else was interested in doing the show JR was always there.

Thank you To Kevin and Christa, who helped lift the show to the next level uniting great Jet minds in a time where there weren’t a ton of online voices on Facebook, Tyrus and Ramone and everyone else who helped behind the scenes to boost the show. We all put this together for free and it was fun. Thank you for the great info and takes you all brought to the show.

Thank you to Wesley Walker, Coach Westhoff, Blake Cashman, and everyone else who jumped on the show to give us a boost.

I’m not saying I won’t ever do this again or wouldn’t join another show in the future but this iteration and me running my own page is done.

Let’s hope the Jets kick butt this fall, much love ❤️ 🙌🏽🫡

The ultimate slap in the face, after all the noise, rumors and talk. The players have spoken, we all know woody is an F owner and not because he doesn’t want to spend, but pretty much just about everything else is. Let’s hope he steps in it with Aaron Glenn and we get lucky like Detroit did with theirs. But even with luck…how long until it runs out when you have a person who conducts business like him?

Jets have their GM, Should Aaron Glenn and company keep Rodgers? It’s not even close…of course.

I know because of our history of getting rid of people constantly we forget sometimes to add clarity to our decisions. We’ve become the highway patrolman who’s heard every excuse known to man on the highway and just write ticket after ticket, 14 years is forever and I get it. But this Driver may have a case.

Yes the Rodgers experience hasn’t been what we wanted but neither has the running game, or the offensive line or the defense…

Quick question…was last years team or his first year with the Jets the team that we thought would perform with Rodgers? Does Rodgers run the ball? Block for the runner? Devise the run scheme? Stop opposing teams running backs? Does Rodgers Drop the football to the tune of 30 plus catches leading the NFL? No!

Has Rodgers made bad throws? OC course but not as many as I’ve seen others do over the last 14 years of nonsense.

What I do know is every player in the league gets a pass the year after ACL surgery but not Rodgers, because he worked hard to try and get back?

Facts are clear after Tyrone Smith was replaced By Fashanu, Rodgers was healthier and went on for his last 10 games to throw 18tds and 4 interceptions, you saw a Qb who could move a bit more and you saw his connection grow with Adams again.

The alternative?

Draft a rookie and start him, while dealing with a massive cap hit from cutting Rodgers. Or having Tyrod hold the ship while a rookie sits…but if youre going to start a vet…why not start the guy who’s leaving a massive financial hole ANYWAY and still had a 2-1 TD to int ratio in a year all sides of the ball took a back seat.

The smart play would be to keep Rodgers , get a competent run scheme to get Hall back to where he was and draft a DT or Corner to play along side of sauce since Glenn blitzes ALOT and you need Man corners.

Not saying Jets are a playoff team year one of Glenn but what I’m saying is you can still draft A qb and let him sit and work with Jordan Travis while being ready to compete like the Jets were most weeks, under Glenn’s new spirit and playbook.

Jets finally after interviewing everyone but my grandma in an extensive search to find a head coach and GM moved yesterday with the hiring of former Jet Aaron Glenn as the 22nd NY Jets Head coach.

Just from a fan perspective it’s kinda cool seeing a former player in my lifetime that I watched growing up now the head coach and most fans liked Glenn as a player.

But it’s not just fan appreciation the reason why Glenn is in this position, he and Dan Campbell rescued the Lions back to relevancy and a shot at a superbowl this season.

Glenn was able to turn around their defense limiting points allowed each year he was there . The lions had one of the best defensive units even with mounting injuries which eventually became too much against Washington.

Imagine the Jets without Sauce , Reed and Michael Carter and still pushing in the playoffs we can’t even do that with a full roster! Glenn is a former player, first round pick, pro bowler and Scout and brings that insight and connections to the Jets.

Glenn will blitz a lot unlike our former regime, he blitzed almost more than any other team in the league (2nd), this will require the Jets to have a front and backers who can handle that. Something the Jets struggled to do in the interior, with Williams seeing double teams.

That means Man coverage will be top priority and one the Jets should be able to handle with their personnel and some tweaks. Glenn could bring some Lions players with him as well, Glenn ran man coverage almost 50 percent of the time. Sauce will earn his money in a mostly cover 1 showing but Reeds time is most likely done and Jets will need another starting corner.

Offensive coordinator will be a huge task and already hearing names like Klint Kubiak and John Morton who led the Jets to a 22 ppg avg in the McCown period for 12 games that produced two 1k receivers and outperformed expectations.

I love the hire but with this franchise there’s no more handouts, I want to see steps moving forward towards being a competitive team. This year slogan should be “ show me”. Join us tonight 8pm est as we talk about the hire and what to expect with this team, Good luck ✈️

Jet fans are a fickle group aren’t we? Everyone was clamoring for Glenn and one big loss and fans want to pass.

Do fans take into account the Lions had 5 turnovers last night, two in the red zone? Like the actual endzone itself. Nooooo, of course not!

Do the fans take into account to account the countless injuries week after week. Noooooo

Goff played one of his worst games as a Lion last night.

They were so bad even when the Lions had an 8.7 yards per rush avg they had to lean off their bread and butter and ultimately got out rushed by almost 20 attempts.

This is the Goff Knock, when it’s on you can you deliver…he’s not that guy.

Jets defense was some kind of awful against the run his lions defense was top 10 and with a plus 9 turnover differential.

Don’t let 1 game cloud your judgement he wasn’t the head coach or the Qb who gave the defense no shot.

I’m not saying Ryan is the best choice, facts are the best choice probably doesn’t want to be here with the Jets and this Owner. But stop acting so high and mighty as to blow off a guy who gave you your last taste of success, every body sees the door especially with the Jets. Even the best see the door in the NFL, even the best had aweful seasons go check it out.

Can Ryan have learned from his time here last? I believe he can. He spent a lot of time talking about and analyzing current NFL offenses because if we are talking about the pros and cons of Rex Ryan it’s his offensive mentality.

Ryan has spoken about this several times over the years and how he would change this, but to act like defense and the running game isn’t still important is nonsense when you see what the Lions have done. Not everyone can have Patrick Mahomes.

If Ryan can be OPEN to new offensive schemes there’s no question his defensive schemes can succeed especially with the pieces still on the roster and I would love to get Sauce Gardner healthy and invested in a scheme that will grow him as a pro corner. Including what can be done at the linebacker positions and changing the looks in the secondary so you don’t look so damn vanilla.

Would you prefer a rookie head coach with no experience in the NFL or a retread who doesn’t care for the Jets, Ryan clearly does! he always fronts for the Jets even when he had no shot at even interviewing years ago!

And lastly read the tweet in the picture, you act as if over the last 14 years we’ve outperformed Ryan and his archaic years but we haven’t! So what do we really have to say in defense if Vrabel and Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn don’t want to come here.

“Ryan sucks”? Like we haven’t already…like you cant get worse than this past season! Please.

someone who actually wants to be here and can fix the run game on both sides of the ball.

Now I’m not saying he’s the best option but what in the world do we know after what we’ve put together after he’s left. Everyone on the internet and the organization have failed with their opinions on how to fix the Jets since Ryan has left and you have all been wrong including myself. Why not…

Mccown is in the mix as well, he is highly regarded in the league even when he was playing some teams wanted him on their staff instead, not sure how much he played in the turnaround for Darnold. But nice to see some former Jets get a look!
