BIG NEWS! 🥳 The Bell is expanding. We’re thrilled to announce the public launch of the Jackson Youth Newsroom (JYN)—our new initiative empowering high school students in Jackson, Mississippi to become local journalists.

For too long, youth voices have been missing from local news in Jackson. JYN is changing that. We’re here to tell stories rooted in pride for our city, share new perspectives on old problems, bridge generations, and build a stronger future for Jackson.

We’re gearing up for Season 2 with an incredible cohort of 10 new and returning reporters and can’t wait to introduce them to you!
