About In the Stacks
In the Stacks is a web portal that aggregates video book content produced by librarians. Both the apps and plugin products generate librarian book recommendations that combine top librarian picks with user preferences, and allow users to locate books near them or online. In the Stacks is also the first video book review program hosted by a librarian. Conceived by librarian Mich

All genres are covered, from adult to teen fiction, non-fiction, fantasy and mystery. In the Stacks is the seed for a larger digital library initiative. In 2016, we released the internal alpha of MyLibrarian and in 2018 we incorporated. The fourth version of the app was released in private beta in 2019, and opening to the public in 2020. MyLibrarian also curates a monthly Book Club and discussion group.
