ter Hayley was born suffering from postpartum preeclampsia-YES it CAN happen postpartum!!! I am also a United Nations Foundation Shot@Life Champion trying to help get life-saving vaccines where they are most needed in the world! When I am not working I spend every moment I can with my children. Once they were born I felt I finally knew exactly what I was meant to do with my life…be their mother AND do my part to make the world a better place for their future.

Our Story

Finnegan and The Hughes started about 6 years ago when I started telling stories about my children, Hayley, Derek and out furry guy Finnegan. The blog name came about because we really felt like it was Finnegan’s world and we were all just living in it, he was such a lovable boss!! Sadly, we lost our dear sweet guy in June due to lymphoma and we are just trying to pick up the pieces of our hearts that were left shattered.

I am trying to get back to the blog, back to sharing our adventures, our finds and fun happy things that happen in life. It’s just been hard.
