Jailed Reporters Jailed Reporters is a website I started in support of a friend and family member (yes, I have a lot of Turkish extended family members).

My wife and Ahmet Şık's wife are cousins. It was quite a shock when we found out that Ahmet had been arrested by the Turkish Government for a yet to be released book that is critical of the Turkish Government. I started jailedreporters.com as a way of getting the word out on Ahmet’s case and aggregating all the English written articles into one site. While researching Ahmet’s case, I have come ac

ross so many other imprisoned Journalists, that I have expanded the site to include them to. Please keep in mind, jailedreporters.com is a work in progress and I can only dedicate so much time to it. I plan to integrate as much social media sites as I can with it. Facebook “like” button is up and running and next I will work on one-site logins through Facebook.
