Blending Matthew’s lush illustration work and interest in natural history with Disney’s iconic character designs and storytelling, this is a singular and perilous perspective on an overlooked gem from the vault.

Mutant, in partnership with NEON, is proud to present the premiere physical media release of the soundtrack to TOGETHER.
Cornel Wilczek (Talk To Me, Bring Her Back) crafts an incredible score for this future body horror classic from director Michael Shanks, blending the organic and synthetic, merging them to create something new, mesmerising, calm, eerie yet beautiful and oddly melodic. Disembodied voices flow in and out of soundscapes made up of traditional acoustic instruments, strings, and synthesisers. At first listen, the score seems very minimalist, but with repeated listening, it reveals these amazing earworms that stick in your mind. It’s a truly lovely, otherworldly listen, ideal for late nights and headphones.

Mutant is excited to announce our next Physical Media Release Party - this time to celebrate the works of & original score for COBRA KAI and original score to THE PENGUIN. 

What makes this event unlike past Release Parties is we will have the composers on hand performing selected works from both of these incredible scores LIVE.

From time to time when we develop projects, we end up saving back a special version to release as an event or convention exclusive.

These are two examples: THE SUBSTANCE by , printed on sparkle-tacular mirror Pink Foil, and 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY by printed on Chromolux Black foil. Twin stunners by two of the best in the game, brilliantly brought to life by exquisite printing.

Both variants were originally planned as San Diego Comic Con exclusives. Unfortunately we didn’t make it to SDCC last week. But the good news is we’re making these available for folks online, and they’re available in the shop right now.

We’re big fans of the HAPPY DEATH DAY films and their playful subversion of the horror/slasher (and later, sci-fi) genres. Like Groundhog’s Day with a butcher knife.

When our friends at Blumhouse asked us to create a new piece of art celebrating the first film, we knew was a match in bloody heaven. Matty created a piece of art evocative of a nightmare, with Jessica Rothe’s Tree caught in an endless free fall loop of death, blades, and birthday candles.

Available now as a 24”x36” lithograph poster over in the Blumhouse shop.

Thank you to everyone who came out to watch the debut live performance of Exotic Themes Live from San Diego. The staff at were tremendous and we totally get why Michael returns here annually. World class.

We’ll be back at the venue tonight for Michael’s talk with Pete Docter - selling the last copies of the event edition vinyl and the bonus 7-Inch, which, cats out of the bag, is his Exotica cover of Fantastic Four. This will not be made available streaming nor be re pressed so if you are in town come by and grab them before they go.
