Last week, we celebrated the graduation of four Afghan daughters and wives from colleges and universities in the Rochester region.

In contrast, today marks 1,000 days since Afghan girls were forbidden from attending school by the Taliban, depriving countless young minds of their right to education. Both of these "milestones" highlight the critical mission of Keeping Our Promise Inc.

Our organization is dedicated to aiding Afghans who served the United States, offering them a legal pathway to safety and the opportunity to start their lives anew in Rochester, NY. These brave individuals supported us in challenging times, and now it's our turn to stand by them in the face of gender apartheid in Afghanistan.

In 2024, our goal was to resettle 50 Afghan families who served the U.S. As of today, we've assisted 47 families in just six months. We need your support to continue our mission. Financial assistance is crucial to help these Afghan allies start anew in Rochester, NY.

Your donation will directly support:
- Safe housing, food, and phone services upon arrival
- Educational resources and skilled trade training for wartime ally Afghan families
- Counseling and community integration services for these families

Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact. Your support will help us honor our commitment to those who served our country and are now facing immense challenges.

Join us in assisting our allies. Visit www.keepingourpromise.org to donate or volunteer today.

Keeping Our Promise is in need of used, but usable laptop computers and Chrome Books for our newly arrived Afghan families who served the U.S. military. They arrive with a duffle bag from our air force bases in Germany and Qatar, or a hotel in Albania or Pakistan after being whisked out of Afghanistan. KOP is expecting 11 ally families over the next 8 weeks. Can you help? Please email our computer guru Alex at: [email protected]
