If a chocolate bar could motivate me get to my first 100 Grand revenue year, I figured it could help other mothers too. 🍫⚡️

Here's Megan Bowen of Meg B Marketing who attended our very first workshop in September 2019. She realized she could hit six figures in revenue ... and she DID!

She's grown her social media company 3x since then and is making family memories with her two cool kids. Go Megan! We invited her back to share her story at the 2023 Workshop.

One of the hardest parts of the career I chose?
Being on social media all day.
Study after study shows how it’s harmful to mental health.
And I’m on it for hours a day.

There are things I’ve put in place to help me unplug and let go of everything my mind absorbs during all that scrolling:

Mid day walks outside without my phone.
Unplugging after my work day for a few hours
Limit my own personal social media use and even this business account so I don’t have more accounts I need to be tending to
Staying really conscious with my consumption and noticing when comparison or insecurities start to creep in

What do you do??

It depends on you. Your personality. Your product. Your brand. Your creativity. Your goals. Your availability. Your budget. It all just depends.

Going viral or having a video get a ton of views can sometimes mean nothing. Sometimes it can legit do ZERO things for your account. It shouldn’t be your goal for posting and it shouldn’t be the only way you gauge success

This client’s video from Dec 5 is still getting views and grows every day. But we have gotten zero followers and no website traffic. It’s a 500K+ view dud 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unless your video ends up on the mean side of the internet, you can just leave it alone. If you do end up getting a lot of negativity or spam you can turn comments off

10 years ago I started an internship at a local TV station that would turn into 6 years in an amazing career which would shift into owning my business and living a life with a lot of financial and time freedom. It’s been an amazing decade of adulthood and working and I’m feeling grateful today for the hard and the fun and then stress and the joys of it all.

I still remember a tweet that went viral in 2019:

As someone who has officially hit that 10 Years Experience benchmark, I will always stand by my prices. I have never had a problem finding clients willing to pay them and who are completely satisfied with my work.
