Joy for the Journey Podcast is for women everywhere co-hosted by Lauren Reeves and Tammy Whitehurst. Every week, Lauren and Tammy discuss issues relevant to women of all ages. Since launching in 2018, they have built an audience seeking real-talk about real issues that women deal with day in and day out and offer hope, laughter, and joy in the midst of stressful situations we might encounter on our journey called life. They are not afraid to talk about menstrual cycles, comparison traps, relationships, drama mama’s, and other issues that leave us wanting to throw our hands up and run wide open. Those issues that leave us happily ever never instead of happily ever after. This witty team interviews men and women who are movers and shakers who have interesting things to say. Lauren and Tammy care deeply about the experiences of people who are just trying to get through the week with their sanity intact. After all, from diapers to dates to Depends......it’s a quick trip! Lauren and Tammy are Christian women seeking to give God the glory every single step of the way with a skip in our step, joy in our heart, and a smile on their faces. They believe that friendship--particularly among women--is a defining, important, and powerful. They share their life experiences and the ups and downs they have been through to relate to the audience. The audience will be well-fed, whether they are wearing sweatpants, designer jeans, or business suits.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Tammy and Lauren have a caring heart and a generous spirit. They are not in competition with their guests or each other. Joy for the Journey believes in giving people credit and treating people fairly. Expect fast paced conversations, a giggle and a grin, conversations that make the listener think, and perhaps a tear or two from time to time. They have a lineup of interesting and intriguing guests that listeners cannot wait to hear, with a few surprises thrown in. Bring your friends along—because joy is contagious!
