Today was a great day on the water with my Dad and brother. Got to watch Cliff Prince doing his thing at the BASS Elite event on wheeler this morning. Ray Hanselman Jr made a great run today trying to catch Cliff. It's going to be close when they come to weigh in it looks like. We went fishing this morning after watching the pros a little and only managed to catch one white bass. Had several bites, just couldn't connect and get them in the boat. Went to a wonderful wedding yesterday. Not every Saturday has some fishing but it was still a great day! The groom and bride got to ride off in the nice Ford classic that was restored beautifully. The whole setup looked like something you would probably see in a movie.

Fished my club bass tournament this passed weekend. My brother fished with me and he managed to catch 3 keepers that got us a 3rd place finish. The new suzuki is still running great!Till the next trip tightlines!

Castin and Catchin 2024. 200 boats at this event and for a great cause. All proceeds from the Castin' 'N Catchin' fishing tournament are donated to the Pediatric & Congenital Heart Center of Alabama. My friend Jeff Eshelman and I had a good day of fishing, just couldn't get the big bites we needed. We lost 2 at the boat and I had one break me off when I set the hook, had to be the 6lber we needed right!! While fishing in Scottsboro we saw 6 dear go for a swim across the river at the bridges, crazy!! In all we finished with 11lbs 11 0z and finished less than 20 spots from winning some prizes. Next year we are coming back for that win! The new Suzuki 250ss is still running flawless, thanks again to Haney Marine and Outdoors for setting me up!
