In response to municipalities spending tax dollars to tell people not to give to panhandlers we had these lovely lawn signs printed up so you can let your community know how you feel about those efforts. If you'd like one, please send us a message and we can work out a delivery to you anywhere in the greater Springfield area. There is no charge, but we do ask that you give at least $5 to someone flying a sign, and not tell anyone about it. Even us.
We wanted to add that we appreciate the work of our area non-profits but hope we can all agree that we would not like to see money that is directly going to purchase necessities that most non-profits cant provide (such as tampons, shelter, food, batteries, or any number of other things) taken away from folks to be given to organizations that are supposed to be helping those people. If you are a non-profit or non-profit employee who has a problem with this, we implore you to do some soul searching.
