It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of beloved Country Home contributor Matthew Mead. Over the years, Matthew produced countless stories that inspired so many of you and enriched the pages of our magazine.

Matthew wasn’t just immensely talented; he was deeply kind and generous and had a joyful outlook on life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

For those who feel inclined to commemorate his life, donations may be made in Matthew’s memory to the American Kidney Fund or the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America. Swipe through to view a collection of his greatest hits in Country Home.
