New work for capturing FUTURES, as part of the .⁠ 1/3⁠⁠⁠
FUTURES uses optical illusion, light and sound to create an immersive experience for its audiences. We delivered both video & stills content in a variety of social media friendly formats to spotlight FUTURES at its best.⁠⁠

Recent work for ⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀
We’re were asked to photograph and film the recently completed Hoxton Press Towers designed by the mighty .chipperfield architects. The residential project forms part of Hackney Council’s redevelopment programme. Located on the Colville Estate overlooking Shoreditch park. The subtle palette of colours was created by utilising handmade bricks, blue/grey for the western tower and red for the eastern one. Each of the 198 apartments has a corner living room balcony and generous floor to ceiling heights. 🎥 📷⁠ ⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀

Mass Concrete are one of the leading industrial manufacturers of concrete surfaces in the UK. Therefore it was no surprise that Wi******er University entrusted them to create their unique build: a nine metre embossed wall.⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀
👷👨‍💻 The project was a stunning feat of engineering. That is to say, the manufacturing process required unorthodox measures. Innovative thinking and solutions were a must. It would be easy to assume that something like concrete pouring is a slow and laborious task. You may even think that it could make for an uneventful manufacturing film – but you’d be wrong! ⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀
Mass’ team worked at an extraordinarily quick rate, pouring nine panels in a matter of days. In addition to their on-the-ground work ethic, it’s their understanding and appreciation of how industrial video production can benefit them that makes them so rewarding to collaborate with.⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀
🚁 Flying a drone inside the old aircraft hanger was a particular highlight for us. Mixing this footage with macro, handheld, and time-lapse to best capture the energy and scope of the project. In short it was great to deliver film and photography that was both a reliable record as well as a celebration of their unique achievement.⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀

🤖🥁 Marching to the beat of our own drum. A little snippet from our 2020 showreel! Up now on our IGTV. ⁠⁠
Our original short film 'Wurm' that this particular clip hails from (sans Palladian branding) can be found on our website palladianmedia.com. Wurm playfully explores notions of expectation and reality and cause and effect, with a gentle nod towards Erwin Wurm, the artist who found notoriety with his ‘one minute sculptures’ and his use of everyday objects and materials.
