In support of the City of Fort Walton Beach's Cleanest City on the Emerald Coast initiative, we are offering a Free Tire Collection Day for residents within the city limits on Friday, September 12, 2025. This one-time service allows residents to dispose of old scrap tires without the usual trip to the Transfer Station. We’ll come to you!

To participate, residents must call the Solid Waste Division at (850) 833-9655 between September 8th and 11th to schedule a pickup.

Guidelines for Tire Pick-Up:
✅Residential only – must live within Fort Walton Beach city limits.
✅No limit on the number of tires.
✅No commercial tires (🚛no tractor trailer, agricultural or other heavy machinery tires🚜).
✅Tires must be placed at curbside by 7 p.m. on September 11th.
✅Place tires away from all obstructions including mailboxes, fire hydrants and above-ground utility boxes.

This effort is part of the City's ongoing commitment to keeping neighborhoods clean, reducing illegal dumping, and improving curb appeal as we work toward becoming the cleanest city on the Emerald Coast.
For more information, visit fwb.org or contact the Solid Waste Division directly. Let’s work together on keeping Fort Walton Beach clean!
