It’s the little things—the way Blue peeks through the door just like Dre used to—that remind me love never leaves. Some memories are so strong, they live on in the smallest of moments.

Well this is a story and a half… we originally thought it was Blue. He did it while we were gone. So on Saturday when we got home that evening we saw him chewing on the toy on the camera. We searched high and low for the leg. I couldn’t find it so we knew he had to ate it. Both of them were acting fine by Sunday night early Monday morning Arya started vomiting. It was a literally everything she had in her stomach. She continue vomiting all day until we got her to the vet so naturally, we assumed it was her. Blue is fine all day no problems eating drinking playing, wanting to go walk but no p**p. They examined both of them at the vet, abdomens soft but guarded, x-rayed Arya bowel was dilated, and there was this place with striations that they suspected might have been the foreign body. So our vet gave her an antiemetic and fluids then wanted to wait and see if it moved today. We did not x-ray blue and assumed it was her. Arya has been a little more tired today, no p**p but eating ferociously like she’s been starved. Blue didn’t really want to eat and had a slightly loose stool. We went back to the vet for repeat x-rays today of Arya couldn’t see any object, and her bowel looked less irritated. So she wanted us to continue to wait since she hadn’t been vomiting anymore, eating small meals and she could see where food was starting to move. I get home with Arya and get settled in and Blue starts 🤮 and that’s what is puked up!!!
I swear, we feel like the dumbest pet parents ever…I don’t have a clue what she got into. His ass sitting over there with that big ass piece of a toy in his stomach for 3+ days 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Not only that. Then last night we head out for our evening walk and before we even got 1 house an away, Arya finds a small copper head and it get her on the nose. We get her into the jeep. I grab the snake, throw it into a cooler, into a box and tape it up and off we go to the emergency vet. Lisa is freaking out about the snake thinking it’s magically transport out of the box and into the jeep somewhere. Get to the vet and close to midnight no swelling or issues, thankfully it was a Dry bite 🙌🏻. Apparently you’re not supposed to bring the snake with especially alive 💁🏼‍♂️😂 so then i get to deal with Lisa and the vet 😂. We leave and I find a big empty field to set it free in away from everyone.

4 vet visits since last week. I’m gonna need those 2 to act right before I have a heart attack 😂

Today makes 6 months since we lost you. Not a single day goes by that I don’t think about you and miss you. The pain and hurting is just as strong and deep today as it was the day we lost you. I know you’re running free and waiting to see us in the next life. So thankful for the time we had. I will continue to love and miss you until the the were together my child.

Blue is back home after a long day at the Vet. When he 1st got to the Husky Education And Rescue Team (HEART) he had a badly broken tooth in the upper left rear of his mouth that was down into the root. He also had a growth on his right front elbow. It’s something that hasnt been able to be taken of dur to his heart worm treatments until now. Today he got the tooth extracted and the growth removed. He’s still feeling groggy from the anesthesia but he’s doing great overall. Gonna be a long couple of weeks with the cone of shame on board and not going for our twice a day walks but he’ll be back to our routine in no time. 😎

Blue managed to to get loose in on our walk this morning and decided we needed to do a half mile sprint all uphill, and I do mean uphill ↗️. Last night on our evening walk, told Lisa I was thinking about getting back into running again a few days away week. I swear blue stopped and looked up at me for a moment as if he was thinking “say Less” on this morning’s walk, we passing someone else walking there pup coming down the bottom of the hill. I reached over to pet blue and tell him good boy after we passed. When I stood up, I noticed the leash was in my hand but no longer connected to his harnesses. I looked at him, he looked at me and gets the biggest smile and takes off before I can grab him. Next thing I see is Blue happy sprinting up the damn hill and looking back from time to time like it was a race to the top and I didn’t have a chance. Facts. Everytime he slowed down and I would get close he was off again. He stopped to take a dump in on ladies yard while she was standing on here front porch watching 🤦🏻‍♂️ I got a foot away and off he goes again. I swear i heard him actually laughing at this point. 4 different people tried to get him to come to him along the way and nope. Finally on the other side of the heel he got distracted and was able to walk up and grab his harnesses and he tried to take off again 🙌🏻. Now we both need a nap. There never a dull moment with this pup. 😂😂
