Ya know how we don't want to be helicopter parents, but sometimes we just wanna know if our kid went somewhere without us knowing?

I love this country so much ❤️🤍💙

Being from a small town, 4th of July was one of my favorite days. So many fun traditions and two whole days packed with so much fun.

Well there were plenty of photos taken, the memory is created have lasted for a longer than any of the pictures.

So please, enjoy those experiences. Don't soil them by being on your phone the whole time

On June 14th I had the pleasure of giving a TEDx Talk. It was an amazing experience getting to share my story and message on this bigger stage.

Taking time to reflect back on my journey as a speaker, I would never guessed when I started this account 6 years ago that I would ever be able to get on that stage.

Thank you to this community for a buoying me up.

Thank you to the friends and family who have always been encouraging and uplifting especially during the times where I doubt myself.

Thank you to my wonderful wife who not only has encouraged and supported me chasing my dreams, but has played an active role in helping me achieve them.

I am not anyone special. I'm just a friendly neighborhood school counselor from a really small town who wants to spread some kindness and hope. I am an incredibly flawed person with so many weaknesses.

If someone like me can achieve their dream, you can too. So please, chase those dreams. Shoot for the stars. You all have something wonderful that the world needs.
