Day 1 | It’s giving very much storybook vibes 🌲📚✨ almost like Over The Garden Wall or Alice in Wonderland

The most obscure dirt path that’s completely swallowed up by the forest in the makes it feel like a secret little woodland world of its own. I was walking on a nearby trail and little stopped and GASPED out loud because it looked so perfect.

In true pnw fashion - the soft, overcast light gave such a hazy and diffused look to the scene ☁️

Long time no see 😽

In case you missed a few episodes - or seasons - HIIIII! I’m Bri. I’m a Photographer (my true love) and Social Media Marketer (my passion) who moved from San Antonio, Texas to the PNW a little over a year ago!

I’ve worked in a lot of industries but nothing feels more like home than working with POC and women-owned businesses in the wellness and beauty space - which basically means I like to work with brands who make people feel good inside and out!

Think about it ⤵️

When you’re shopping around at a store and at every turn is a sales person telling you the best deals and where the top selling products are, it feels a little disingenuous.

You start to get a little closed off and before you know it, you’re running out of the door so they can’t talk you into buying something just for the sake of the sale 🏃💨

As humans, we like to connect. How do we do that? Through feeling 😌

Get to know your audience - not just as a number but who they are as a person. Learn about their goals, their questions and concerns as it relates to your industry, and provide your solution!

Ex. You’re a cbd company with a great full spectrum oil. Instead of rattling off how calming and relaxing it is, think about the teacher who is stressed all day and has trouble sleeping at night. Connect with them on their struggle and provide your solution - the incredible sleep aid - cbd!

It’s that easy 🙌🏽

We talk about Reels being 👑 and they kind of are, but so are other content formats! In fact, each format can give you a different outcome based on how you use it!

What content do you think would best benefit you for your goals right now? 💭 Personally, I’ve found that a blend of Reels and Carousels work best for my audience 🧡

Building a business from the ground up means wearing multiple hats because it’s expensive to outsource. It takes those long nights and early mornings of hard work and planning. It can take years before you get there.

But you’ll do it. You’ll get to where you want to be and look back thinking, “I can’t believe I did that!”

That day will come. But for now, enjoy the journey and take pride in knowing you’re doing more than enough ✨

Spoiler alert 📣: it’s not as hard as you think!

So you’re checking your analytics and see a big number for your impressions and profile views, but where are the follows and website clicks? 🔎

Think of your profile as your storefront. From a newcomer viewpoint, is it clear what your business does? Does your store look cohesive and easy to understand? Or does it look a little mismatched and slightly confusing? 🥴

We tend to have shorter attention spans these days, so we only have a few seconds to really grab our audience and entice them to look deeper and follow along!

Making these small changes can really help with not only reaching your desired audience, but retention and conversion too 🧡

Jokes aside, being a business owner can be extremely stress + anxiety inducing. You are always thinking about the business, how to improve it, what people think of it, if you’re doing enough to make it grow to its fullest potential - it’s a lot!

But I’m here to tell you, you ARE enough 🧡 It’s so important for you to take care of your mental health if you want your business to flourish, because you are at the core of your business!

Show yourself a little self care with an extra day off, taking a break when you need it, and even reminding yourself how proud you are with how far you’ve come!
