You have to discover how to shut the noises around you when preparing to listen from God.

There are certain things you may not be told but as you journey with God, discover and then help those your mentoring.

When I was still, I could copy and mimic how others prayed...yes this helped me but as time has moved...I realised many prayed that way delaying with noise then after you wait to listen, praying loud is not being heard by God, jumping and shaking while praying, playing music 9t prayer chants ...etc yes you can try put different ways, pay while prison floor, putting the head under your knees, marathon prayer etc. Yes all these we can use to find our way out. But after knowing what works for you...take time to master it. Don't blame anyone the way they pray...that's what works for them...also pray what works for you. Some times you can pray for 5hrs....and yet you have to wait upon God and he shows up after another 8hrs hehehe.....these things are for those who are ready to wait. Some time after you praying, there is that point you feel yes...I have touched him....don't move from the place of prayer....but it's a signal to linger in the presence little longer....then there he comes with a small voice...wow.

It's takes a man with hunger to wait for those hours otherwise..you will be the kind of minister who assumes God spoke...you can never be effective in speaking truth of the word. Some times you have to teach against things you also do...if you didn't listen well...you can compromise coz the finger is pointing in you the preacher ...you need to record what you preach and after preaching, settle and listen to what God spoke to his people coz ur also his son.

Deep calls to the deep

"The names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax-gatherer; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him" (Matt. 10:2-4).

God uses unqualified people to accomplish His purposes.

We live in a qualification-conscious society. Almost everything you do requires you to meet someone else's standards. You must qualify to purchase a home, buy a car, get a credit card, or attend college. In the job market, the most difficult jobs require people with the highest possible qualifications.

Ironically, God uses unqualified people to accomplish the world's most important task: advancing the kingdom of God. It has always been that way: Adam and Eve plunged the human race into sin. Lot got drunk and committed in**st with his own daughters. Abraham doubted God and committed adultery. Jacob deceived his father. Moses was a murderer. David was too, as well as an adulterer. Jonah got upset when God showed mercy to Nineveh. Elijah withstood 850 false priests and prophets, yet fled in terror from one woman—Jezebel. Paul murdered Christians. And the list goes on and on.

The fact is, no one is fully qualified to do God's work. That's why He uses unqualified people. Perhaps that truth is most clearly illustrated in the twelve disciples, who had numerous human frailties, different temperaments, different skills, and diverse backgrounds, yet Christ used them to change the world.

This month you will meet the disciples one by one. As you do, I want you to see that they were common men with a very uncommon calling. I also want you to observe the training process Jesus put them through, because it serves as a pattern for our discipleship as well.

I pray you will be challenged by their strengths and encouraged by the way God used them despite their weaknesses and failures. He will use you too as you continue yielding your life to Him.

*Mark.4.11 - And He said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, [nkjv]*
*Mark.4.12 - so that "Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them."' [nkjv]*

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

*1 Corinthians 2:11* *For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.*
*1 Corinthians 2:12* *Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.*

Some times we should keep these mystries to ourselves coz the world can not understand them, for the dont have the spirit of God and can never understand His [God] mind,

😂its high time we start speaking parables, let them see things working out for us, excelling etc and they will be like eyiii what dont we understand

*WALKING BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT*

*Gen.13.9 - Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. [kjv]*

What I like about those verses Abraham allowed Lot to choose because *Lot walked by sight and not by faith.* Abraham knew God already chose for Him so he didn't have to choose cause he walked by whatever God said. After all, his steps were ordered by the Lord. May you trust God this year like never before!!

*Dont take choice even when you have previlage because God already choose for you, for we are his workmaniship created unto good works which christ predestined…..Eph:2:10*

Gen.13.10 - And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed S***m and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. [kjv]

Gen.13.11 - Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. [kjv]

*Gen.13.14 - And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: [kjv]*

Oh help us Holy spirit to wait upon your directions.

*STRIFE*
Gen.13.7 - And there was a *strife* between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. [kjv]

Gen.13.8 - *And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife,* I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. [kjv]

Gen.13.9 - Is not the whole land before thee? *separate thyself*, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. [kjv]

*The cause of strife*

Gen.13.2 - And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. [kjv]

Gen.13.5 - But Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents. [amp]

*Gen.13.6 - And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. [kjv]*

May God bless you and you family, friends and let the blessing manifest in a dimension that you village, district can not bear. I pray let the blessing cause you to separate from your father, family, leave the country because you are all so blessed and space is limitted.
Let your children leave your home because they cant manifest the blessing there anymore.

If God did it for abraham, we are his seed and its our portion.

May the Holy spirit help us locate the right people carying whay shall workout for us.

*Gen.13.1 - And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. [kjv]*

Because of Abraham, lot got it

May God make you the source of peoples sucess, and may the Holy spirit teach you how to be a blessing this year

*Building alters*

Every time Abraham encountered God, he built an alter and on that alter he called upon God for that cause, i belive these alters sustained and protected what he had got and on it God spoke more.

Gen.12.7 - And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and *there builded he an altar unto the LORD,* who appeared unto him. [kjv]

Gen.12.8 - And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he *builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. [kjv]*

An alter can be a specific time you meet with God, just like we pray for God to send laborers every thursday 6pm and every sunday 7:30am , you can set an alarm to and have that alter.

🙏 Maybe your family needs an alter? You can start it, an alter for your children, marriage, business etc and surely, God shall sustain you and when things go wrong in your marriage, on that alter inquire of God

*Gen.13.4 - Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD. [kjv]*

He never forgot about old alters.

This year, every hard thing, start an alter for it and you gonna experience the love of God wow

Prayer.
Father in the mighty name of Jesus, I bless you coz you are faithful, when you speak, no one can stop when you say yes no man can say no. Help us start our alters
May the Holy spirit help us in Jesus name amen

*No.1. How does the word of God work in a believer*

I want us to look at these highlighted words carefully

Heb.4.12 - For the *word of God is living* and *active*. *Sharper* *than any double--edged sword*, it *penetrates* even to dividing *soul* and *spirit, joints and marrow*; it *judges* the *thoughts and attitudes* of the *heart*. [niv]

So the word works in us in these dimensions
🪑Gives life coz it’s *living*

🪑Activates dormant things in a believer because it is *active*

🪑Cutting through all things because it’s *sharper* so the word can sort the spirit, soul, joints and marrow

🪑Judging the thoughts and attitudes of the 💜 heart.

So every believer these are the levels the word of God Must work in you.

And it comes from meditation, you realize the power in the word, you start understanding judgement etc

*So the word can work at the three levels, spirit, soul and body and the other levels base on these three*
