El 28 de agosto de 2024, a las 21:57:56 (UTC), hubo un terremoto aproximadamente a 60 km al suroeste de La Libertad, El Salvador. La profundidad del hipocentro es de aproximadamente 33.9 km, y se estima que la magnitud del terremoto fue de 6.1.

On 2024-08-28, at 21:57:56 (UTC), there was an earthquake around 60 km SSW of La Libertad, El Salvador. The depth of the hypocenter is about 33.9km, and the magnitude of the earthquake is estimated to be about 6.1.
