Happy 1 month birthday to my boy 👶🏻 legally his name is Archer but his mother and I prefer “Sausage”,“Chipolata”, “Čevapčič” and a variety of other processed meat-related names that we can’t help calling him. This may lead to some sort of identity crisis later in life but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it 🌭❤️

Exhilarating weekend at the Perth International Festival of Speed 🏎️ 💨 couldn’t have done it without our stellar team of roving presenters and commentators , Dan and Vaughn 🎤 If you told me (a man who, up to now, watched precisely zero sport) a year ago that in 2024 that I’d be presenting at the Melbourne Grand Prix, routinely watching every F1 race and commentating at the I’d tell you ya got rocks in yer head. It appears I’ve been thrust into the world of Motorsport and frankly I’m pleased with this new twist in the plot.

We cooked a mean Char Siu Pork, fried rice and bread & butter pudding (came 4th, clearly rigged). Go support they do excellent work for people facing hardship and fighting hunger

LEAD THROUGH SPEECH

We ran an excellent 1hr Finding Your Voice: Public Speaking & Leadership workshop with Kolbe’s Rising Leaders last week. 55 students across multiple year groups. Powerful speaking is the essence of leadership. In order to win people over to your way of thinking, to motivate, to persuade and to inspire you must learn to speak with energy, clarity and purpose. The leaders who’ve had the greatest impact on our world share a common quality: they excel at speaking. Be like them…

P.S., if you’re wondering why a comedy page is posting this, I also run a business called “Finding Your Voice” and teach public speaking for high school student leaders (with an online course for uni students and young professionals on the way). 🏁🏎️ Days 3 & 4, Melbourne Grand Prix: Stories were done so it was time to harass the public for fancams… There’s no event like this in Australia, the scale is enormous with something like 500,000 tickets sold across the weekend. If you get a chance at some point to go to a Grand Prix, take it. You won’t regret it. It’s been a pleasure working here with the GPTV team, including our little crew .bickford and the GOAT: editor Andy. Let’s do it all over again next year
