In between trainings I wanted the make the most of my trip and see as much as possible. First stop after Glamis was Joshua Tree National Park. The energy here was amazing! There were some 4x4 trails I wanted to explore but chose not too because of time and the fact that there were wild fires in the nearby county affecting the air quality 😞

I will go back here again when I can spend more time. It was absolutely a gem ❤️

Glamis ❤️ it was a hot one! 🥵 but it felt so good to get the Warthog in the dunes to feel the dynamics and how he handles it. And of course he just soaked it up.

➡️Super thankful for the Long Range Tank today because we burned quite a bit of fuel in the hot, soft sand. ☀️

Jillian here 👉🏻 If you follow our team socials you have probably seen the news that my teammate for the Rebelle Rally & best friend Kat has been diagnosed with cancer. That has delayed our arrival to the start line. We will not be competing this year so Kat can focus on starting her fight in this battle.

I have created a GoFundMe to help offset some of the medical expenses for her and Tony. They are a military family so there is only so much that Tricare will cover. My hope is that we raise funds to alleviate some of that burden so that Kat can focus on healing.

Well. This isn’t a post I wanted to make, but so many of you have been asking about the upcoming Rebelle Rally.

During a routine health exam, we discovered that I have cancer. 😑 Additional scans and workups have shown it to be a bit of a challenging case. I won’t go into the gory details, but it’s shaping up to be a hell of a fight.

For those of you who know me well, you know I’m a fighter and I’m going to approach treatment with all the tenacity and grit I can muster. I’ve been told that this will be a rollercoaster of highs and lows and am preparing myself as much as possible for what’s to come.

So with that, this will not be my year for the Rebelle Rally. It’s a huge bummer for myself and my teammate, Jillian. My intention is to kick ass in my treatments and get to that start line eventually!!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I am beyond blessed to have the MOST AMAZING circle of friends who have shown me so much love and support as Tony and I figure out our way ahead. I love you all more than you will know.

If you are the praying type, those prayers are certainly appreciated. Thank you.
