My wife and I met this young man (in the photo), along with his family while on our cruise last week.

His name is Andrew. He is not just a Christian, but an active believer in The Lord.

I complemented his t-shirt and he said that he wears them to open a line of communication with folks about the word of God.

You see, he works with multiple youth groups as a counselor, mentor, teacher, and tells them all about Our Lord.

I thanked him and told him that he (and the youth like him) are so important in our society and that he gives us hope that he and his generation are spreading the word as God has directed us to.

Thank God. We STILL have youth that believe…and are spreading the gospel.

Today is the last day of our week long cruise and it’s been one of the most relaxing weeks my wife and I have had in a very long time.

We saw some beautiful sights, spent some great quality time and created some amazing memories.

Rain kept us from going onto the beach at Grand Turks and Caicos, but we stayed on board and enjoyed the ship.

God has truly blessed us and been good to us. We are thankful.

Paco’s Places - Part Two.

Today we were in San Juan, Puerto Rico! Beautiful, as the pictures will show you.

Well got up early, had breakfast and took off! We walked nearly 4 miles before noon. Saw the Governor’s place, two forts, sis some shopping and more!

Here’s another of Paco’s Places!

Kind of. This week our home is on the high seas on the Enchanted Princess.

As you can see, their piazza (foyer) is beautiful! These ships are designed to offer breathtaking views from nearly every vantage point of the ship

Breakfast, lunches and dinners offer sights of God’s work, as you’ll see in the pictures.

Today is day three. We left Ft. Lauderdale Saturday and have gone to Princess’ private island and tomorrow we’ll be in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which we love. A beautiful island.

We’ll do some shopping and have lunch there. Then head back to the ship.

This week’s Paco’s Places!

July 4th is not only America’s birthday, it’s also my wife’s birthday!

This past weekend, we went to Tampa and stayed in a hotel for the weekend.

Friday night we drove to Clearwater to have dinner with our grandson (Jayden) and my daughter (Devon) at the restaurant and bar she manages, Marina Cantina and Bar Tiki. It was great seeing them and meeting my daughter’s boyfriend Eric!

On the way there from Tampa, we drove through a torrential downpour. I asked God to please let Maritza see her fireworks! As soon as we crossed the bridge to Clearwater, the clouds broke, the sun came out and the sky cleared. Right after the fireworks, my wife said, “I felt a drop.” We got into the car & it started pouring! Thank you Jesus!

Saturday we went exploring. Folly Farms Nature Preserve. A nice little, peaceful & friendly place in Safety Harbor.

They had a butterfly garden, a 17 foot gnome called Gnomeo, a petting area with bunnies, turtles, goats and other animals.

Happy Birthday to my better half & thanks for wishing her a Happy Birthday.

Here’s another Paco’s Places!

This weekend we (my wife and i) headed back out towards Melbourne and found a nice little park.

It’s Fisherman’s Landing in Grant-Valkaria in Brevard County is a small park right off US 1, with a pier, some benches, tables, a pavilion with tables and beautiful views. It’s also free to access.

We met a couple of really nice people on the pier fishing. While we were out there, we saw about a half dozen dolphins swimming, several birds, and the scenery is God’s beautiful work.

If you’re looking for a nice and quiet place to sit, relax, and just be one with God…check it out.
