Tonight I’m sporting my new Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey that I got for my birthday from my wife and one of my boys!

Happy they got the W against the Falcons in Atlanta yesterday! Being a Tampa native and raised there, I’ve been through some lean years…but they’re STILL my team!

Go Bucs! Fire The Cannons! Who’s with me?!

I'm a Florida boy. Raised in Tampa. Spent a LOT of time in Orlando as a kid because my parents would ALWAYS come to Disney back then.

Since I grew up in West Tampa, just about five miles from (the old) Tampa Stadium, I became a Bucs fan from their very first season. Trust me when I tell you that I've endured a TON of very "lean" years for the team, between their "ring winning years."

However, before the Bucs I rooted for the Dolphins. I was a Jags fan during my time working in Jacksonville...

But, all that aside...Who is YOUR favorite team?! Let us know so we can put together a list of teams to cheer for this year, now that the season has begun!

How’d you like to be in a history book?!

Well, here's a chance for you to be!

The Guinness Book of World Records is celebrating their 70th anniversary…and are making it easier for you to be a part of their history too!

They’ve posted a list of unclaimed titles, like fastest burrito-making or most anchovies eaten in a minute. But, if you don’t know what you could do, they posted an online quiz that matches your personality to record challenges you might be able to break. I've listed it at the bottom of the post for you to check out.

I took the quiz and it suggests that I try to break the record of….

The most anchovies eaten in one minute. Problem: I don’t like anchovies.

The Fastest time to travel to all English Premier League stadiums. Problem: these stadiums are all in England.

Greatest height to drop an egg without breaking. Problem: I'm always dropping and breaking things...my wife will vouch

Fastest time to make a burrito. Problem: I think eating one would be more in line for me!

There's a toad here in Florida that can actually be very toxic, and I thought you should know about it so you're not caught off guard.

It's called the "Cane Toad" or the "Bufo Toad."

It was originally brought to the state in a special program as a way to control pests.

They would eat beetles that would destroy sugar cane fields, a very important crop back then in the Sunshine State.

The initial group of toads didn't survive the attempt to be relocated. But it wasn't a problem when they vanished from the state. The problem began when a wild pet importer released about 100 of them at the Miami airport in the 1950s.

Others did the same thing after importing the exotic amphibians to other parts of South Florida. This was the catalyst that caused a cane toad population explosion statewide.

The vast majority of Cane Toads are found in South Florida, however some of them have migrated to nearby Polk County and some have even been spotted in DeLand.

If you see them, don't touch them. They secrete a chemical that can get on your hand and later irritate your skin or eyes. Also, their eggs, when consumed by local animals can harm (or worse), so keep your pets close, and away from their nests.

If you have pets and see one, do not allow your pet to get too close, because they are highly toxic and can make your pet sick or worse.. If your pet inadvertently consumes or licks a Cane Toad they could expire as quickly as within 15 minutes if not properly treated by a medical professional.

Some of the symptoms from Cane Toads are similar to that of a rabies sickness, including foaming at the mouth, as well as frantic or disoriented behavior, red gums, and even seizures.

Pet owners who spot these symptoms, immediately wash the toxins out of the mouth with a water hose for ten minutes while being careful not to send water down the pet’s throat.

Then wipe the gums and the animal’s tongue with a dish towel to remove toxins before getting the pet to a veterinarian’s office.

Be careful. Be vigilante.

If you’ve ever driven in New York City traffic, you know it can lead to a handful of Advil. Years ago, when I worked in NY, I saw a taxi backup for two blocks on Broadway in the middle of Midtown Manhattan!

Now, maybe driving headaches may be a thing of the past, because city officials have given Waymo (the self-driving robo-taxi company) permission to test their fully autonomous cars there for the first time.

Up to eight of its Jaguar I-Pace SUVs will be on the streets of Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn later this month. Each will be "equipped" with a human safety driver required to keep at least one hand on the wheel…

One would think that testing wouldn't be done in a city where during the workday there are approximately 9 million people on the island of Manhattan. I guess that's why they're doing it there... Because as the song says, "If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere!"

Paco’s Places…

Final Day.

Today we watched, “The Broken Link” and “Daily Double.”

Then lunch and spent time in Central Park during sunset listening to a harpist play while we relaxed. For some complementary desserts and had a monkey hanging around in our cabin.

One cool thing was that I found my first ever duck.

Paco’s Places…Part 3 1/2!!!

Went into Coco Cay. Spent the day at the beach. Came back, had lunch, saw a magician/comic show and a diving and dance aqua show! Amazing.

Then we got a snack and chilled for a bit at Central Park.

Been an awesome day! Feel so blessed.

Day 3 of our cruise on the Star of the Seas!

Today we went to “Perfect Day at Coco Cay.

Beautiful weather and a beautiful beach!

How ironic that for the second time in as many cruises, I had to go thousands of miles from home to meet a Z88.3 listener! This is Patricia in the picture. We met prior to seeing the “Back To The Future” show yesterday.

One more day, then we’re back home!

Paco’s Places - Part 2

This is the second day of our Star of the Seas cruise.

Our destination, A Perfect Day At Coco Cay is tomorrow. So late yesterday and this morning we did some more exploring. Remember, this is the World’s Largest Cruise Ship, so it’s going to take some time to see it all!

Here we go! On the brand new Royal Caribbean Star of the Seas cruise ship!

Pulling out of port later today! We’ll be sharing our voyage with you!

This is day one. So far, we’ve done “some” exploring. But this is the largest cruise ship in the world, so we’ve still got a lot to see!
