Over 700 Repentant T+rrorists Set For Reintegration Into Society

The Nigerian Military has announced that over 700 repentant t+rrorists who underwent rehabilitation under Operation Safe Corridor are set to be reintegrated into society.

Coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Yusuf Ali, disclosed this during a media tour of facilities at the Deradicalisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Centre in Gombe, North-East Nigeria.

He explained that many Nigerians lack adequate understanding of the Federal Government’s structured counter-t+rrorism programme under Operation Safe Corridor, noting that the initiative is aimed at restoring peace in communities affected by terrorism across the country.

Brigadier-General Ali also dismissed claims that clients of the programme are being recruited into military institutions, stressing that the focus remains on deradicalising, rehabilitating, and preparing them for peaceful reintegration into their communities.

During the media tour, some of the clients at the camp shared accounts of their involvement in offences that led to their admission into the programme.

The visit forms part of preparations for the graduation ceremony of the over 700 clients who have completed the rehabilitation process and are considered ready to return to civilian life.

"Guys, I almost kn@ck£d one married woman at the gym. All these men that allow their wives go to the gym, make una dey try monitor them oo .

This thing happened last week. I was at the gym, doing bench press, then I saw these lady skipping. Omo, make I no lie for you, she get y@n$h, and me I like am. The thing be like water-water y@n$h. I was just staring at her.

She noticed me through the mirror, but I didn’t stop staring. Long story short, I walked up to her, spoke to her, and we exchanged contacts. After that, we started chatting, normal guy things. I started playing with her, pushing things forward, trying to see if I fit get chance.

Long story short, we agreed to go out on a date. And this one no be say we go just go out and everybody go back to their house. We already agreed say after the date, we'll spend time together behind closed doors and do things.

I met her on Monday, we talked, and we planned for Saturday. Now, on Thursday, as I just enter the gym, I saw her coming down from a car with one man. The man followed her inside. I was walking right behind them. When they got in, she was showing the man the equipment in the gym.

When he left, I went up to her like, “Babe, how far?” normal whining. Then I asked her, “Abeg, who be that man wey you come with?” She said, “My husband.” I was like, “Ah-ah, you’re married?” She said yes.

From that moment, everything just clear from my head, I swear. To even burst my head, when I got home, I texted her, “I didn’t know you were married, sorry.” This lady still persisted. She said the date must happen, that I’ve already t&rned her on, that it must happen.

I said no. It’s not happening. Me, I no dey do ad<ery. I no dey run things with another man’s wife. This lady still insisted. Omo, that was how I blocked her. I even stopped going to that gym instantly. Make she no go s£t me up. This one really sc@re me.

I don block her like this, bro. Married woman for that matter. See wetin she wan do. Imagine what she would have been doing with other people. I know say no be only me.

Right now, I don’t even know if I should go back to that gym or not, because I’m sc@red. What if she don tell her husband one kind story? From the way the man dress, he look like an influential person.

If I go there now, dem fit just carry DSS come pick me up for something wey I no even do..."
