For them, it's not just about feeding these doggos, but it's also about showing love, building trust, and being the dogs’ ray of hope… in a place where many are unkind towards them 💔

Naturally, Dhanya and Neda’s journey did not come without its own challenges.

The difficult experiences they’ve faced together strengthened their resolve to help more homeless doggos and ensure that others live a better life ❤️

On 23 March 2023, Uncle Patrick Khoo was physically assaulted by an MBPJ officer during a dog catching operation outside his shop while trying to protect his dogs. [REFER ➡ to our post on 24 March 2023]

Despite the assault, no action was taken against the MBPJ officers involved. Instead, Uncle Khoo was charged with obstructing a public servant in the line of duty.

On 13 June 2025, Uncle Khoo attended his first trial hearing. [REFER ➡ to our post on 16 June 2025]

Last Friday on 20 June 2025, he attended his second trial hearing. The prosecutors (MBPJ) brought in 2 witnesses:

*️⃣ Witness #3: Case Photographer

On 10 June 2025, a family’s missing dog, Rambo, was tragically found lifeless and decomposing. His body was stuffed in a sack and dumped in the river along the Entawa Highway, Sarawak (Sri Aman → Betong).

Rambo had signs of abuse on his body, including a slash on his thigh that was believed to have been inflicted while he was still alive.

Rambo’s family has lodged a police report, but they are still appealing for eyewitnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.

⌛ Between 10 A.M. and 6 P.M.
📆 8 June 2025, and have dashcam footage
