Our new fundraiser compilation created in response to the current situation in Hungary. To show solidarity and support for the Budapest Pride community, Dalmata Daniel has teamed up with 34 artists, including: 2:29, AGA2L, Alpár, Anatolian Weapons, Antoni Maiovvi, Betonkust, Carrageenan, Cestrian, Chupacabras, Das Ding, E-bony, Hadron Lundgren, Imre Kiss, J. Mono, Jeremiah Soft, Kvrk, LAU, LVRIN, Mule Driver, Normal Tamas, Oneeyedman, Palmovka, Parand, Rapha, Roberto Auser, SILF, SVR101, The Spy, Timothy J. Fairplay, Tommy Huracán, Új Bála, VLR, Vudududu, and Wedding Acid Group 🐾

In March 2025 the Hungarian Parliament rewrote the country’s assembly law, tightening the rules for all public demonstrations — but with wording clearly aimed at shutting down Pride. The amendment threatens marchers and organisers with fines of up to €500 and lets police deploy facial‑recognition systems. It follows a 2020 ban on legal gender recognition and the 2021 law censoring LGBTQ+ content for minors.

Meanwhile, the government continues to target civil organisations more broadly, signalling an even darker outlook for the future of democratic rights and community spaces in Hungary.

To answer this attack on basic civil and q***r rights, Dalmata Daniel teamed up with 34 artists from Hungary and across the globe to contribute exclusive tracks. The result is a diverse, powerful collection that channels solidarity, resistance, and care through sound.

It would be nice to say the world is heading toward a brighter future and becoming a better place in 2024, but unfortunately, it’s not, and we’re rolling downhill even faster.

Nevertheless, we’ve reached this part of the year when HHV Mag poses a tough question to a bunch of great DJs, label runners, and music makers: to create a vinyl chart for 2024!

I’m thrilled they asked me again. However, it was still quite challenging to narrow it down to just 10 records. But here they are—those I wanted to highlight: amazing LPs and EPs from Filmmaker, Rapha, V/A by Wedding Acid Group & Albert Ess & Syntelman & J. Mono, Timothy J. Fairplay & Norwell, Helena Hauff, CT Kidobó, Bound By Endogamy & Raw Ambassador , L.F.T, Charlie, and last but not least, Ernesto!
