Bastion Rose Drops Final Single, "Wild Honey," Before Full-Length Album Traces of Gold Drops November 7th.

Jon Harris Presents Wasted Entertainment (Playthrough)
JON HARRIS returns with a new playthrough video for his track “Wasted Entertainment”, taken from his acclaimed album Parallel Heart (Epictronic). 'Wasted Entertainment' takes aim at our obsession with social media, calling out the endless scroll that eats away those precious hours of our lives. It’s one of the heavier songs on the album, built on an early riff and loaded with punchy textures and layered sounds that took me a few tries to get right. Recently, I met someone who said it was their favourite track on the whole record – so crank it up!

BLOOMINGTON, IN – Hard rock band Bastion Rose is set to release their new single, "Atlas Slumbers," on Friday, October 3rd. The powerful new track will serve as a preview of their highly anticipated full-length debut album, Traces of Gold, which will be available everywhere on Friday, November 7th. “Atlas Slumbers” tackles a profound concept, reimagining the Greek myth of Atlas. The song's narrative follows a weary Atlas as he makes the ultimate choice to abandon his burden and let the world fall. The lyrics explore the struggle of shouldering immense weight and the ultimate liberation found in letting go. With powerful riffs and a cathartic build, the song is a compelling blend of classic rock's darker angels and the modern intensity of post-grunge and metal.

Traces of Gold is a testament to resilience, transforming personal adversity into a powerful, authentic, and emotionally charged musical experience. Epictronic proudly presents the official music video for "I'm Happy if You're Happy," a standout track from Sicky’s outstanding album "Troubled Delight", available now.

Sicky’s "I'm Happy If You're Happy" gives a playful nod to The Cure’s classic "The Lovecats." The bassline and production clearly draw from the vibe and energy of that unforgettable track. Sicky hopes this song will have the same kind of lasting charm.

There’s a subtle cat theme running through the song, but it’s really about setting a trap or drawing someone in, not just about cats. If you listen closely, you might hear some cat noises sprinkled in—and, for a fun surprise, Scarlet throws in a random turkey impression.

epoimóriròmiope Signs to Epictronic for Debut Release

Epictronic is thrilled to welcome Italian genre-bending rock metal act epoimóriròmiope to its roster for their haunting new album, ricordi di un tempo mai esistito, due for release on 10 October 2025. Emerging from Bologna’s underground in 2021, epoimóriròmiope has been forging a unique sonic identity by merging the visceral impact of Metalcore with the immersive textures of EDM, Alternative Rock, and Industrial. What began as a one-man studio project has evolved into a fully formed band with a bold new sound and vision. Following the underground acclaim of earlier self-released works Vincoli and kabukimono, the band made a decisive move to withdraw their previous catalogue from streaming platforms, signaling a rebirth with a new lineup and a darker, more refined artistic direction. Now, with Epictronic behind them, they are ready to unveil their most ambitious work to date. Ricordi di un tempo mai esistito ("memories of a time that never existed") is an emotionally charged concept album that dives deep into themes of loss, abandonment, rage, anxiety, and the fleeting nature of existence. Written during a period of intense personal turmoil, the album is both catharsis and confession — a raw sonic diary built on distorted memories and unspoken grief. Fusing jagged guitar riffs, aggressive synths, glitched textures, and cinematic soundscapes, the record draws inspiration from Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon, Massive Attack, and echoes of darkwave, IDM, and cyberpunk. It’s a record that doesn’t seek to soothe but to confront — a sonic mirror held up to the most shadowed corners of the human psyche.

This release marks the beginning of a new chapter for epoimóriròmiope, one rooted in emotional truth and unrelenting sonic exploration.

Brit Pop-Rock Discovery Sicky Signs With Epictronic

[Shropshire, UK] – Exciting news for fans of bold, boundary-pushing rock music—SICKY, the vibrant Brit Pop-Rock project, has inked a deal with Epictronic Records for the upcoming album Troubled Delight. This release follows 2022's Garbage Town and 2021’s Bowling Balls, continuing the tradition of spontaneous, authentic creativity that defines the artist’s signature sound.

SICKY, a Black Country native now based in Shropshire, is no stranger to musical exploration. From the brass-filled pop of Papa Mantra to the gritty stomp of SUMO, SICKY has spent years crafting a rich, diverse musical landscape. Now, with Troubled Delight, he’s leaning into raw, unapologetic energy, delivering a collection of songs that capture life’s highs and lows with refreshing honesty and unfiltered fun.

"The album is an accident, but in the best way," SICKY explains. “It’s about venting life's ups and downs—giving you a way to move forward. Music’s the release. It’s better than carrying everything around, right? Hopefully, people can relate to these tracks because, at the end of the day, we’re not all that different. And while there are darker moments in the album, it’s filled with a sense of joy—because you don’t have to write depressing music to talk about hard times.”

With Troubled Delight, SICKY’s approach was simple yet vibrant. Written and produced at home with no grand plans or overthinking, the record comes to life with raw, unpolished instrumentation. Many of the album’s percussion sounds came from unconventional sources, such as music room instruments, a church bell recorded on a phone, sliding shopping center doors, and even a sample from Quatermass and the Pit, kindly approved by Hammer Films.

The album’s creation was a true family affair: Jen Bone contributed double bass to three tracks, Michael’s niece, Rebecca Butler, lent her angelic vocals to "Mankind," and even 10-year-old Lily and 8-year-old Scarlet joined in with their punk-inspired backing vocals on "I’m Happy If You’re Happy."

Bloomington, IN – June 12, 2025 — Rising rock band Bastion Rose will debut their highly anticipated new single, “Humble Me,” during a special live broadcast from Rainwater Studios in Brown County, Indiana, USA on Wednesday, June 12 at 7:00 PM ET. The live performance will include the full Fade To Blue EP and culminate in the official premiere of the “Humble Me” music video—set to redirect viewers immediately following the stream.
