Whether you pronounce it Marriott or Marriott, we can all agree on one thing… their redemption rates aren’t the best 🥲

But that doesn’t matter now - because there’s a free platform that completely changed how I book hotels - it lets you earn 10-70x miles per dollar and still keep all your elite perks (yep, upgrades, breakfast, late checkout, the works).

The wild part is you can also use it to book Marriott stays for way fewer points than Marriott itself charges - like a recent example where a St. Regis night priced at 104k points on Marriott was 49k on this site 😳

It’s called RoveMiles, and it’s totally free to use (they make money from the hotels, not you).

💬 Comment ROVE and I’ll send you the link to get 1,500 miles just for signing up, plus 5,000 more after your first hotel booking.

It’s a new month and we’re leaving no credit behind!

The Amex Platinum fee is now $895 - which means the only way this card makes sense is if you maximize most benefits.

The good news is that these new perks are active immediately for existing members. But here’s the catch → you have to enroll in the Amex app before using them or you won’t get the credits.

Between hotel credits, dining, Saks, Uber, airline fees, and all the limited-time Amex Offers that pop up throughout the year… it can feel like a full-time job to keep track of it all.

That’s why I use an app to track my benefits + time-sensitive offers so nothing slips through the cracks.

💬 Comment track and I’ll send you the link to download it.

🚨 Some pretty big changes just hit the Chase Sapphire cards today - especially the Sapphire Reserve, but a few updates affect how you redeem points through the Preferred too. 👀

If you use either card (or you’re thinking about getting one), make sure you understand what’s changing - it could impact how much value you actually get from your points and perks.

I’ll be breaking it all down so you can keep maximizing and make sure every swipe is working for you, not the bank. 💳💎

💬 Comment “Chase” and I’ll send you the full list of updates.

Free airline status alert 🚨

If you already have status with Delta, United, JetBlue, Southwest, Air Canada, Aeromexico, or Frontier, Alaska Airlines will match it for free through their new ATMOS Rewards program.

You’ll get 90 days of Alaska elite status - with perks like free upgrades, priority boarding, bonus miles, and Oneworld lounge access.

And if you hit the easy flying goals, you can keep it for the rest of the year. 💺

These promos don’t come around often and can end without notice, so if you’ve got status elsewhere, don’t sleep on this one.

💬 Comment “ATMOS” and I’ll send you the link + step-by-step guide to apply.

Most people don’t realize you can get free elite status with both American Airlines and Hyatt right now - no flying or crazy spend required. 👀

If you already have status with Delta, United, JetBlue, or Southwest, you can:
✈️ Match your status to AAdvantage® for 4 months
🏨 Then link your AA + Hyatt accounts to get 90 days of Hyatt elite status

Most people have no idea how valuable their credit card points actually are.

They’ll redeem 100,000 points for a $1,000 flight or a few gift cards… when those same points could’ve covered $10,000+ in luxury travel.

And even if you have zero points or no travel cards yet, you can still start.

With the right strategy, even buying points during the right promos can save you 50% or more on flights and hotels.

It’s not about spending more - it’s about learning how to use what you already have smarter.

Most people use Rakuten for cash back (which tbh is still better than no free money).

But if you have this Amex trick, you can turn $50 into 5,000 points instead. AND earn waaay more for purchases you’re already making or travel you’re already booking 👀

It took me YEARS to do this myself because I thought “there must be a catch”, but you know I wouldn’t be recommending this if there was.

But don’t trust me. See for yourself. This is definitely worth 5 minutes of your time.

Comment “5K”and I’ll immediately send you the quick tutorial video I made, plus the link to sign up with the $50/5,000 points bonus!

Let’s be real… a lot of Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) properties are $$$ 💰

But if you know where to look, there are hidden gems where you can max the benefit without dropping thousands.

ICYMI - FHR is Amex’s luxury hotel program where Platinum & Centurion cardholders can book 5-star stays and get perks like free breakfast, $100+ credits, late checkout, and upgrades.

When you book one of these properties, you’ll get:

✨ Free daily breakfast for two
✨ $100+ property credits
✨ Guaranteed 4pm late checkout
✨ Room upgrades when available

These are just a handful of the actually worth it FHR hotels where the credit alone can cover a huge chunk of your stay + you get all of the perks listed above!

This is the just the tip of the iceberg! Every single card we have in the US offers outsized value… IF you know how to use them right 😏 (and wouldn’t you know… I post about this all the time… what a coincidence!)

I personally am excited about these bc they align perfectly with expenses I already have 👇

✨ New Benefits:
💳 Hotel credit boost → $600/year for Fine Hotels & Resorts + Hotel Collection bookings (split into 2x $300)
💳 Dining credit → $400/year via Resy ($100 each quarter)
💳 Wellness perks → $300/year at Lululemon + $200 Oura Ring credit
💳 Uber One + streaming → $120/year for Uber One + new eligible subscriptions (like YouTube Premium/TV, Paramount+)
💳 New hotel status → Leaders Club Sterling (Leading Hotels of the World)
💳 Annual fee increase → $895 starting Jan 2026 renewals

✨ Benefits That Remain the Same:
💳 $200/year Airline Fee Credit
💳 $200/year Uber Cash ($15/month, $35 in December)
💳 $209/year CLEAR Plus Credit
💳 $100/year Saks Fifth Avenue Credit ($50 semi-annual)
💳 Global Entry/TSA PreCheck Credit
💳 Centurion Lounge + Priority Pass lounge access
💳 Hilton Gold & Marriott Gold Elite Status
💳 Fine Hotels & Resorts perks (daily breakfast, late checkout, upgrades when available)

Bottom line → if you’re using even some of these credits on stuff you’d already spend on, the Amex Platinum easily pays for itself - even with the higher fee.

💬 Comment guide and I’ll send you my free beginner’s guide to travel hacking so you can start turning perks like this into free flights + hotels.

“Points aren’t free.”

You’re right. They come from stuff I already have to do anyway:

🍣 Eating (4x points)
🏡 Paying rent (5k points a month)
🐈 Feeding my cats (12–15x points per dollar)
🛍️ Shopping for skincare (5–20x points with portals)
🎶 Even going to concerts (yep, points from that too).

By stacking card multipliers + shopping portals, I earn tens of thousands of points per month without spending extra. That’s how I book lie-flat business class flights that would normally cost $6k+ for just a couple hundred bucks in taxes + fees.

✨ What’s a transfer bonus?

When a credit card program temporarily gives you extra points for moving your rewards to an airline or hotel partner. Example: instead of 1:1, a 30% bonus makes it 1:1.3. More points = more free travel.

🚨 New transfer bonuses just dropped for September!

👉 Amex → Hilton (25% bonus)
1:2.5 ratio through Sept 23. Worth it if you’re booking luxe Hilton stays (Conrads, Waldorfs, etc.)- especially with the 5th night free.

👉 Capital One → Virgin Red (30% bonus)
1:3 ratio until Oct 2. Pro tip: you can move Virgin Red → Virgin Atlantic Flying Club for sweet spot redemptions (hello, ANA biz + first 👀).

👉 Chase → IHG (100% bonus)
1:2 ratio until Sept 4. Not always my top pick, but can be solid if you’ve got your eye on a pricey IHG property.

👉 Citi → Wyndham (25% bonus)
1:1.25 until Sept 20. Math may not work out in your favor here - likely skip unless you need a small top-up.

⚡️ More bonuses may be added throughout the month - and staying on top of them is the difference between an okay redemption and a crazy good one (like when we got biz class to Japan for 38k 🤯)

Want an ongoing LIVE list of every current transfer bonus (so you don’t have to hunt them down yourself)? That’s just one of the perks of being a Cloud9Club member. Inside, I keep everything updated for you, plus share sweet spot redemptions and deal alerts in real time.
