Uromi is a community located in Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State with an estimated population of 180,000. The people of Uromi are part of the larger Edo ethnic group and are known for their rich cultural heritage, traditional values, and communal lifestyle. The Uromi (Esan) culture is deeply rooted in respect for elders, strong family bonds, and a high regard for customs and traditions

Uromi Kingdom is traditionally governed by a monarch known as the Ojuromi of Uromi, His Royal Highnessi, Anslem Edenojie (II) who plays a central role in maintaining peace and order.
