Here at Cinco Siete Discos Y Tapes we worship at the altar of Lux, Ivy, Nick, Bryan, and and hence are extremely proud to present The Cramps - Bad Music for Bad People, available for the first time on 8-track cartridge. ***** In development for over a year, this project was created, cultivated, curated and assembled by a collaboration of more than 25 fans, artists and volunteers. The packaging itself is "de-Lux" - featuring a custom slipcover featuring a 1978 concert poster designed by X3 Posters and printed by , 16-page booklet of liner notes, rare photos and exclusive silkscreen art prints by Print Destroyer and the art print LUNGS by . Liner notes by , , .falco , Robert Mache, Patrick Bainee, and the album cover artist . Due to the extensive manual labor required to recondition existing 8-track cartridges, only 250 hand numbered 8-tracks are being released. These 8-tracks were each manufactured by hand with love by and include 50 spray painted units on yellow cartridges and 200 units on black cartridges, each hand numbered. No expense was spared making this project, this is truly a passion project. As many of you know, 5Seven is a small DIY non profit operation and given we got a bit carried away with this project, we are actually losing money on every 8-track we sell. Thank you to the band, thanks to everybody involved making this release, thanks to Universal Music Group, & all the Cramps fans out there. This release goes up for sale on Wed December 22th 2021 at 10 AM PST on our website.

Alright so after 8 long months we are damn excited to announce our new project and badass punk rock opera: OBROIION 01. An album entirely created by Artificial Intelligence, the lyrics, the melodies, the artwork, the singing. We simply asked AI to tell us the story of how robots would destroy the human race and take over the planet. We decided the story needed to be told through 1970s punk and that the songs should be told from the perspectives of one of the two dueling main characters: the humans and robots. Us and them. A big part of our mission at 5Seven Discos y Tapes is to help others who are less fortunate than we are, through any initiative that we can. In the past we have done fundraisers where we have raised +$1,000 to awesome organizations like the International Rescue Committee or KIND. Continuing that tradition we are going BIG with our new 5SEVEN Ebay charity auction fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds are going to two incredible charities: Elizabeth House (provides shelter & services for pregnant women and children experiencing homelessness) and East LA Women’s Center (which aims to ensure that women live in a place of safety and health, free from violence and abuse). Everything in this picture will be listed starting at a $1 bid. We are listing NES carts, Vinyl Test Pressings, Poly Video Game Floppy Discs, and SURPRISE some secret Oh Sees goodies: 1) Six individual official 8-tracks from Thee Oh Sees 8-track collection each complete with the 36 page release booklet, stickers, buttons & a patch! (in addition to the 100 boxsets we made 20 extra album 8-tracks that went mostly to JPD and the band), 2) an 8-track clamshell box from the boxset built by with artwork by the legendary and a photograph by JPD on the back, & last but not least…. the white whale: 3) a test pressing of Thee Oh Sees 8-track Collection printed on rainbow foil paper and featuring black & white carts & a bunch of extras. Only 5 hand numbered boxsets were made as prototypes to test the cart audio / printing / design and general boxset design & construction. These were given to the band and we kept one back for this lucky auction winner, so this is probably the only chance you will get to own this incredibly unique item. We put up #1) the second and last pressing of Polygondwanaland by 8-bit Escapades on yellow vinyl, limited to 250 copies & #2) King Gizzard 8-bit NES 2nd Edition, upgraded with 4 new albums (Infest the Rats’ Nest, Fishing for Fishies, Eyes Like the Sky, Oddments) on two new colors (Deep Space Black and Lizard Green NES Carts), limited to 100 copies each color. Last run of Vinyl and NES carts sold out in a few hours so get em quick! Leading up to next week's new releases, we wanted to announce a project we worked on last year: Vol 1 of the Freakout Mixtape, which features 21 badass bands delivering 21 killer songs for 80+ minutes of pure fun. We spent months curating this beauty and are really proud of the end result, so if you want to discover some sweet new tunes then get this mixtape. Sharing a few new pics of the 36 page punk zine, a pic of the Smote Reverser 8-track carts which are mixed red / black color carts with different labels depending on the cart color mix you get, also sharing some pics of our labels next to the original 8-track labels from the 70s we got our design inspiration from.

Last, we included a pic of the sweet stickers included in the set. Anybody who buys a boxset this week will get an extra patch, an extra pair of buttons and an extra pair of stickers so you can slap them on your skateboard like we did

Update Oct 30> holy crap, we released the Gizz vinyl and NES yesterday and it sold out instantly, we clearly underestimated demand. We probably wont press any more of the vinyl, but we will most likely make more of the NES carts. 57 was probably too little in retrospect... So stay tuned for an announcement soon, so please dont resort to paying a ton of money on ebay to flippers. We did put our copy on ebay where 100% proceeds go to KIND, a non profit that helps immigrant children who are alone, find more about the charity here and bid on the NES cart here.
