Announcing the next release, suddenly yet at the same time after a long wait. It’s a release I never thought I’d be part of making.

Earlier this year, Kent Sturén, a beloved friend of the Stockholm scene unexpectedly passed away. In the grips of grief we decided to release a mix tape, with music by and for his near and dear.

It seemed only fitting as Kent was the scene’s cassette boy! He dj:d tapes and every time åtåmåtån released cassettes he brought his deck to the party.

This Friday we gather to celebrate him at the release party for “Till Kent” (“For Kent”) cassette at Synth After Work. This time however we’ll listen to the tape digitally. 💔

It’s a release without proceeds and the option to donate to the national heart and lung foundation. Next Bandcamp Friday the remaining tapes will be available for purchase.
