Friends, sharing this to warn you all: scammers are getting smarter and almost got me with this scheme. Please take a minute to go through this and keep safe! 🙏
A “boss” asked me to buy Steam Wallet codes via WhatsApp for the board of directors.
Good thing wala nang stock, or I might’ve really sent it. 😅
Someone else also shared an eerily similar case: A friend had her “client” email her about buying online gift cheques.
The tone and style felt legit—until they asked her to purchase $100 worth and send the codes.
That’s when she realized it was a scam.

In summary:
❌ NEVER agree to buy or send gift card codes for someone else.
✅ Always verify through official channels.
