“I don’t know what scares me more, outer space, or the depths of the world’s oceans. Thinking of either concept can send me into a state of existential dread. The vast and not fully understood void of space is probably more terrifying. However the dark, cold and mysterious sea floor is close enough to us to make me uneasy."

"Inspired in part by Axial Seamount, an underwater volcano located off of the coast of Oregon. Axial Seamount is said to pose no danger to us on land. Nonetheless, the sheer concept of undersea volcanoes and hydrothermal vents freaks me out. These monsters are deep and generally harmless, but fear knows no reason.

Taking a moment to reflect on how much has happened in 20 months of LOUDsilence.

I could never have predicted what would follow when it began.

I truly thank all for that incredible amount of releases and all kind words, support, radio/playlist additions.

My real world situations can make it difficult to maintain LOUDsilence, but all your energies are contagious. It is still something I am immensely proud of and long may it continue.

Always grateful for any support in these times to keep LOUDsilence energies alive and releases free.

The raw sounds of creation – saw, drill, wood, and breath – were then fed into a modular synthesizer, evolving into an evocative and experimental noise experience.

The Owl returns for their third LOUDsilence release. Another wide mixture of electronic, electroacoustic, experimental, noise across ambient to harsh spectrum, doomsynth, modified voice and obscure rhythms.

Philosophical, playful, cryptic and diverse in themes.
Considered and dramatic in arrangement of the chapters.

"Inspired in parts by Séraphitüs-Séraphîta, Distorting A Woodpecker, RDKPL, Niacinamide, plus substantial amounts of the LOUDsilence, Hamfuggi Records, The Church of Noisy Goat, Bromtol Largesse, Basement Corner Emissions, Filthy Sounds and several other of the prolific netlabels and relentless soundmakers.

Recorded in two sittings (May 14th and July 15th 2025) using synths, voice, effects pedals. Arranged and edited in Reaper and Wavepad.
